Friendly welcoming team. The Optician made useful suggestions to me and listed the type of glasses I would need. A young man was very helpful and patient when I was assessing all the varying frames to choose from. I decided to purchase three types ... short distance, long distance and a pair of long distance sunglasses.Thank you all for your assistance.
Every member of the team was outstanding, they had a duty of care and I felt like I was being heard and attended to with care! A immense amount of respect was shown and I will continue to visit this store in the future due to their attentiveness and dedication. They arrived quickly and were exactly as described. The quality is excellent — the frames feel sturdy and comfortable, and the lenses are clear and sharp. They fit perfectly and look great, too! Overall, a fantastic purchase and I’d definitely order from here again. Highly recommend! Big thanks to Aid, Zainab, Cass and Maryam for their support!
Everyone was lovely and welcoming even though I was early for appointment. Amanda checked all my details then fully explained the retinal photography to which I agreed to.My eyes were checked by a very pleasant gentleman called Michael and made me feel so relaxed. I had to get glasses so was left to browse the Amanda helped me make my final choice. On return to collect my glasses I was met by Amy and she was very efficient also, checking the fit then saying if they loosen off to go back and have them adjusted. Was very impressed by everyone in Specsavers in Leven and will definitely return.
Good morning. My name is Alan Urquhart, and I just have to write this review to thank a few members of staff from the Kilmarnock branch in King Street. My eye test was carried out by Rhiannon, who was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all the questions that I asked. She also asked me some questions that I did not expect, but she made me feel so at ease, and when she finished with the eye test, I felt very happy with having more knowledge about my eyes, than I did when I went in for test. After the eye test, Rhiannon handed me over to one of her colleagues Karra who carried out a few other tests outside the eye test office. Once she had done the test and looked at the result on their computer, th image was not as clear as they would have liked it, so they asked if they could repeat the test, which I obviously said yes. This time it was a bit clearer, but Karra asked if, when I come in next week to collect my glasses if they could do another test, just to make sure all was fine, again I said yes.I am so happy that I went to Specsavers, and to meet the two girls that carried out my test.Thank you.
I was having problems with my new glasses as i walked into Specsavers i was met straight away by one of the staff he directed me to another member of staff who asked me what problem i was having he carried out checks and adjustments as required i was very happy with the quick service i received on the day, Thank You Brian...
I was asked to attend a work trial on a Saturday 17th May 2025 afternoon at Bedford Specsavers Harpur Centre during my time witnessed shocking business practices . Saw an apprentice not wiping down the equipment between customers.( No lesson learnt from COVID )There were customers who didn't speak or understand what was happening and their children to asked to interpret( against the law). Customers upstairs coming to collect their glasses and then told to come back because they were too early but we're not logged and when they did come back told to wait even longer because there were 10 customers in front. Store does not have automatic doors for those with wheelchairs , or those with diffculty with walking. Customers coming in without appointments and promised to be seen but existing customers told there is a backlog. One customer even got lost waiting upstairs when he should been seen downstairs for a pre screening tests and no apology given to him. Recent refurbished but no one thought about getting a lift installed or escalators for those who cant walk down the stairs. Staff shortage with only two dispensing opticians so those waiting to collect glasses told there is a long wait. Staff going to lunch late because told to have 1 hour even when there is a backlog of those customers still waiting for appointments . Only had two qualified opticians and one pre registered( not qualified) even when weekends are the busy days. Told they have 80 staff but seemed alot on annual leave . Blame can only be attributed to the door of Carl Furnell the Store Manager who been working at Bedford store for 22 years but has leant any lessons yet. They said I was not chosen because I didn't seem to cope with crowds but I was just job shadowing. The employed staff seemed to me the ones who could not cope with crowds. Thank God I was saved and won't be coming here again even as a customer. Told my mates to boycott the store.
