Absolute joke. Pay out on first past post. Paid me then reversed it putting account in debit. Due to protest. Then clam exotics not included when the don't stipulate it. Easiest App to use. Wait 30 mins for customer live chat did 2 things today . Got my last bet Got me mad enough to show current affair. Scammers
Buckley won his recent ufc fight by ko in rd 2 due to doctors stoppage. Sportsbet paid me .Then took my winnings out of my account without notice .When I contacted them I was told Buckley won in the 3rd round . Even though his opponent didn't fight a single millisecond of the 3rd. I'm not depositing a cent again into my account and tell everybody I know about my experience as a Sportsbet customer. Signed up in NZ, deposited money, however the ID verification method for NZ is a nightmare, have to print a copy, get it signed by someone then upload the signed copy blah blah, told them I didn’t wanna go through such a hassle to gamble and was told that it needs to be done before I can withdraw the money that I just put on. Essentially forcing me to go to a post shop and get my ID signed if I want to get my deposit back. If you’re in NZ just use 365 or TAB, stay clear of these con artists. Would be good if they had a clear warning about this for NZ customers before taking our money as it seems very unlikely to me that they couldn’t be aware that this is happening, it’s more likely that they just don’t care, which is the vibe I got from Amy
Closed the Sportsbet account for life. Placed a bet on what I thought was a 2 horse race, however when the race began, 3 horses were running. Instead of voiding all the bets, SB customer support basically said “Tough luck”. The mentioned customer support officer was quite rude (which isn’t a surprise, worst customer service of any bookie). They didn’t even give me back my bet in bonus. Lost complete faith in this company, I’m sure they won’t miss my dollars but a stand had to be taken. Even a bookie has to know it’s way easier to keep your customers than get a new one. Will be taking my talents elsewhere
Deduction Theft Sportsbet got this right some time ago but noticed they are falling into the old habit of applying deductions for initial scratchings but not compensating for additional scratching thereafter - Take race 2 at Ballarat on the 29/05/2022 KEPPEL BAY was scratched and the deduction was 44c the win ( a bit steep but acceptable) The odds for the rest of the field after that scratching is cut in half, a $15 chance before scratching of Kepple Bay is reduced to $7 - Front Lawn is then scratched some time later leaving a bigger than normal deduction as if it was scratched at the same time as Kepple Bay - Now the deduction is correct for Front Lawn BUT Kepple Bay's deduction must be reduced to compensate for punters that placed bets when there were no scratchings. TAB do this and Sportsbet had it right so what's going on?TAB's initial deduction was 40c when Keppel Bay was scratched and then reduced it to 33c when Front Lawn was an additional scratching thereafter. TAB got it right so why is Sportsbet screwing early fixed odds punters? 100% theft and they obviously know it but what can one do? NT Racing Commission are useless and side with the bookmakers saying if you do not like the way they take out deductions do not bet with them.These are the total Deductions from probably the biggest 3 Betting outlets in Australia for the win on race 2 at Ballarat that dayTAB - 49c Bet365 - 49c Sportsbet 59c Some of the positives I will give them is they let restricted punters like myself (not all) on to win more than the others so tick there but that BS deduction at Ballarat has me fuming as I know it is just blatant theft and they are hiding behind the NT Racing Commission - A number of the smaller Corporate Bookies on that day (Playup) also ripped punters off with deductions BUT as Sportsbet are by far the biggest and should know better they get the wrath from me.
Recent experience with Sportsbet, after a 6 year relationship, I'm out.I use the service of Black book Push Notifications regularly.Last weekend @ Doomben a horse I have had in my Blackbook for quite some time now. And each time it was racing I would back it. With a result of about 6 losses to a 2nd place. Always ran at good odds. Well on the Monday night after the Doomben meet, I hear on the news my BB horse had won @ excellent odds. My immediate thought was I missed the BB notification. But when checked and confirmed with customer service that I never received a Notification. Was then told someone would get back to me. So far nothing , no response of an apology or the offer of a bonus bet or 2. So I've decided to give ole Sportsbet the " flick " off ! Go back to TAB !
The worst. Look past all their obscure and irrelevant special offers and their odds are the worst on offer. Just about everything about sportsbet is inferior but one thing that always annoyed me was how often the "odds have changed" message would come up as you were about to click the last button to confirm a bet. And guess what..... the odds only went down, never once went up. They are a dishonourable company. Avoid them
