Bought a TV from Walmart that arrived damaged. after some back and forth I was able to get a refund. They did not refund my all state protection plan. I called Walmart a bunch of times they transferred me to All State. All State transferred me back to Walmart. Eventually after lots of hold time I was able to get someone to say theyll get a refund, that was in March, mid may and no refund. This is ongoing since November. For $60 so much hassle. Icould imagine if I had a car claim or worse. Never do business with these guys again.
Would give zero stars if possible. Been waiting years for an approved claim to pay out. Contacted so many times it’s ridiculous, and still haven’t received payout for this item!!!! It’s a scam!!!! Take my money, approve claim and don’t pay!!! They never contact back when I speak to a representative and told I will hear back within 48 hrs. LIES!!!!!
On August 24, 2024, I placed an online order that included an Allstate Protection Plan. I later decided to cancel the entire order on the same day, and Walmart promptly refunded the amount for the purchased item. However, the Allstate Protection Plan was not refunded, even though the order was canceled immediately. Months later, I discovered this issue when my daughter's tablet malfunctioned (another purchase), prompting me to request a cancellation of the protection plan.Instead of refunding me in full immediately, Allstate repeatedly cited their policy, stating that I was not eligible for a full refund—even though the original purchase was canceled the same day. This experience feels like a predatory practice, as it allows them to retain money for a service that was never needed due to the order cancellation.I strongly advise potential customers to carefully review refund policies before purchasing an Allstate Protection Plan through Walmart. If a canceled order does not automatically refund the protection plan, you may risk losing your money due to unclear policies and rigid customer service responses.
Made a claim. They tried to send me to the manufacturer even though that warranty expired already. Then said my claim was past the reporting date even though I started it within 30 days. Now refuse to honor the agreement. They are a scam. Do not trust.*Update Squaretrade contacted me to say they were conducting a review of my claim at the "highest level" and almost a month later...nothing. Not even a courtesy call.
