Review Time
TV operated satisfactorily for four years until ethernet input failed. Response to claim was timely. Troubleshooting was thorough and friendly. Repair part was not available so I was allowed to select a replacement TV from 3 equivalent models. However, I was not notified of the delivery time of the replacement TV and an unexpected delivery was attempted and failed. I called and scheduled an acceptable delivery time. The new TV arrived as re-scheduled and is working fine. Duration of claim process was 3 to 4 weeks. I am glad I purchased a 5 year protection plan with the original TV.
Handled our ice-maker warranty repair claim successfully. They made the arrangements for the repair, and they were good with their communications. The wrong part was initially shipped, but the correct part was re-ordered and the ice-maker is working again and we didn't have to pay anything.
My parts was sent very quickly and although they had a little trouble with getting me a service technician for the job ,they ask me to reach out and get one and I was giving a 100 dollars for my effort , and they would reimburse me and pay for all additional cost. So I returned my robot vacuum to be repaired, because it would just die without going back to the dock. They sent it back with no information about what had been done only that it had been repaired. But nothing was different. I still had the exact same problem. So far it seems like they know how to send me a shipping label and return my vacuum to me, it’s just not clear that they are actually doing anything to fix it. I’ve just sent it back a second time and now it’s on its way back to me saying it’s been repaired. Fingers crossed.UPDATE 11/29/25So I received my Roomba J9+ back after having it repaired twice by Allstate/Squaretrade. And wouldn’t you know it died again. On its second trip it just died with its red light flashing. I have had a Roomba J7+ for several years now for my downstairs and I haven’t had one problem with it. I’m just beyond fed up and would never buy a refurbished product again warranty by Allstate/square trade. To their credit while they can’t seem to repair it they’ve always been responsive so I’m waiting to hear what they have to say this time.
The staff was quick to fix the issues and the parts came in fast. I have used other warranty company's that have been not as great, and have taken forever to fix my issues. This process was easy, and I'm very happy with the experience.
Like all insurance companies, you're real quick to take our money for your policies, but when it comes time to pay on a claim all you do is give people the runaround. It took me over two months to get my claim resolved. I'll never buy another policy of yours again. For anything.
