Allstate is reasonable, Walmart sucks.

I bought a power washer at Walmart online with 2-year protection. 18 months later the washer stopped working. Spent more than 2 hours on the phone with Walmart customer service, getting nowhere. They said the right thing for public relation, but no one knew or intended to take care of my problem. Finally someone asked me to call Allstate. Allstate has a different attitude. They figured it was cheaper to refund the equipment than to repair it. I got the refund within 10 days. Walmart is eager to get you to pay for protection but very reluctant to face a claim .
