Review Time
This coverage is a scam. Had some $100 EarPods stop working, Allstate approved replacement then sent me links to choose from 3 replacements, each between $15-20. I bought coverage for Beats Solo Buds and that’s the replacement I expect. 5 emails later and they simply refuse to respond in any way.
It has a been over a week and I never received my compensation for a new controller. Also it took over a month to successfully submit a claim and it kept getting reviewed. I’d rather spend $60 for a new controller than deal with the hassle next time.
The insurance is a joke.You insured an OUTDOOR tent. When the frame broke at the place where it was factory-soldered, I was told it was due... to the weather! Duh! It is a tent! And I kept it in an impeccable shape, always drying it immediately if it got wet.Really, this "insurance" looks like a scam.UPDATE:A very polite rep called me, listened to my side of the story, and apologized profusely. Still, the bottom line is the same - When I needed insurance I got none. It was a hassle, took time, got me a refund of my insurance fee. I was first told via e-mail my claim was accepted, do I "want a refund or replacement." A few days later, I was emailed with a rejection of my claim. If I covered the specks of rust, I would have got my claim. This is over....$100!!!!
September: Dishwasher quit working properly. Called for service and was given a Claim ID #087255954135 on 9/16/2025. The phone agent tried to diagnose the problem and ordered parts. The repair was scheduled for 9/22/2025. The technician arrived and said the parts we received were not correct. He left and said he would re-order parts. When he called to check on the parts a week later, we were told that the parts we received were incorrect. No more feedback from him.Received an email on 10/27/2025 notifying us that the unit could not be repaired and we would be getting a refund for the cost of the dishwasher and tax by email, which I never received. I called to follow up on the payment, and was informed by Ivan that a payment was being went out to us, but nothing yet. It has been over two months and nothing has been accomplished. I want my my refund so I can purchase a new dishwasher!!!! HELP!!!!!!
