Horrible business people who will ignore your attempts to contact them for a refund until the 30 days they allot passes so you cannot claim your money on an item not received. I would stay away if I were you, your financial info should stay away from such hands.
On your website you say 3-5 days delivery. I ordered on the morning of Tuesday 28.12.21, in the hope I would have it in the very least on the 4th of January (5 working days) . My goods arrived on the 8th of January. My discontent comes from unkept promises. I could have driven to Northcliff to collect if id have known the amount of time it would take.My advice is - When you state 3-5 working days on your website (albeit festive season) STICK to your delivery promise.For me this was not a good experience and as such I will not be ordering from you again and the Word of mouth will not be positive.
Unfortunately dishonest dealings - this company can't be trustedThey had mispriced a certain low watt light, which I then order about 20. They sent me an alternative product (ACDC light that had gone out of production for a number of years already) without saying a word. When I queried it, they claimed were out of stock and had sent an equivalent product. When I contacted ACDC directly, they told me this replacement was no longer in their catalogue and that it was worth a fraction of the product I had ordered and was not the same specification (it was inferior). I reverted back to Step Building Supplies with this confirmation, and they suddenly had some stock they found which they sent me and considered the matter settled - despite their horrifying dishonesty and no admission or apologies for such reprehensible behaviour!
I purchase online with different retailers regularly and this is my worst experience to date. I purchased a black Friday deal for 2k it's been more than 3 weeks of no delivery or communication. I sent an email requesting a cancelation and received a response regarding delivery promised, a week later still nothing. My request is a refund. I provided by banking details with the bank letterhead requesting a full refund a week and a half ago and no one has responded. I do not wish to engage in any sort of business with you. I do not want the products. I want my monies returned. Check your emails, I have sent my details repeatedly #6874
The DOL starter that I received was not what was advertised. I contacted the manager and he was not very helpful. I sent the starter back a week ago and still no reply to correct this. I contacted them everyday since I received the box via email and telephone calls, emails no longer got answered. Reception keep promise me that someone will call me back, but no one call,yet they sent me emails of their daily deals. Client service is not a priority.
