One of the worst service I have received from this company. We had emergency boiler leaking. We agreed only for analysing the problem and agree the price for £60.00 . Ending up sending a invoice for 2 hrs £825.00Finally engineer spoke to them and told it’s only analysing the problem.then they send a invoice £454.00Please do not use this scamming company. The CSR member really don’t care simply disconnect the call.
Had a waste pipe disconnected at a joint on a Sunday. The plumber came an hour late and immediately was pretending that he didn’t know what was the issue and said he has to remove the cupboards in order to fix the issue. The call out was £90 (incl vat) and then quoted £250/hour for the job. Which basically meant it would have costed a fortune. Long behold I manage to get a local plumber for Monday, who takes 5 minutes to fix the issue, because it was easily accessible and fixable connection. Thankfully I lost only £90, but never again I will use emergency service… DO NOT USE - SCAM SCAM SCAM.
Would give them 0 if I could. Absolutely no transparency on the phone with the woman I initially spoke to.Looking at £220 per hour and they add a massive admin fee of 15%, charged me £400 basically for 5 minute job. Avoid at all costs. The guy who did the job also had no communication skills and just said “they will send you some costs” bit could not explain anything or string a proper sentence together.
I can’t fault the young man who came to fix the leak on one raidiator. He did the job and it worked. We had a small leak on a raidiator and the call out was 59 pounds which I thought was fine he was here about wan hour and at the end of the day needed to get the job done as my severely autism grand son needed a bath it cost me £730 my grandson will have less this summer due to that extortionate amount for 1 hour we were desperate but really had no opption my grandson came first I would if I wasn’t so desperate never use this company again ☹️
The worst experience with a company I have ever had. We came back from holiday and had a plumbing issue and in desperation we came across Swift Plumbers. On the phone, they said their call out charge was £69 which, although a lot, seemed easier to stomach compared to rates suggested elsewhere. They however hid the actual total fee, including an extortionate hourly rate, until the plumber was inside our flat. Total lack of transparency. The chap who came to fix the toilet in fairness was nice enough but the organisation is a disgrace, taking advantage of desperate, helpless people in a cowardly manner. The plumbing also did not fix properly - a total fee of above 500 quid including the call out fee, hourly rate, and VAT to not fix a problem and be manipulated.
