It was easy to book an appointment for the next day. The plumber who came arrived on time and was friendly (other than questionning my understanding of the problem in a slightly patronising way). He established what was needed and said I would receive a quote by the end of the day and then book in the work. I chased the company for 3 days and they continued to say they were working on it. I finally asked whether they actually thought they could do the job and they said no. I feel like I was taken for a ride and as a result am back yo square 1 and still have no hot water. They needed to be honest from the beginning and maybe need to work on their supplier network (if they actually tried).

Very, very expensive

I wish I'd read these reviews before booking the job. I paid £330+ for a plumber to change the plug in my bath. I was told the call out charge of £69+VAT included one hours of labour, which was not included in the invoice. They refused to break invoice down into labour and parts. The part was under £20. The plumber himself was nice and did a good job, but would not recommend this company as they are so incredibly expensive!

Nightmare …

Very bad service or lack of I called them out they were in two mins and abrupt was give a very rough guess for this and that and no final figure then given a date which I could not make and then rebooked. Another member of staff who was nice came out but not to do the job just to look at it after I had taken a half day off work he apologised and gave me a figure and offered to come out after I had finished work then on the day he could not make it

Would not use again

Came within the time tried to tell me needed new stop tap and floor needing taking up and tap needed isolating etc. I know all it needed was the nut bolt tightening which i told him that was where the leak was from they did stop the leak and then said if I move the tap it will leak again. I think as I'm a women I dont know things but I know a bit. Only charged me the call out fee. Did say I would need them to do it tomorrow stated it was fine and thank you

For an unexpected £360 for an hour, including a £60 call-out charge and a lack of upfront cost information over the phone, I'd recommend opting for Pimlico Plumbers instead, as they charge £150 per hour.

PK Plumbing - we were desperate - please avoid

We were desperate for a plumber in Christmas week: we had a blocked, unusable toilet, otherwise we would never have used this outfit. Also known as PK Plumbing, they promised an arrival time between 12-2, but arrived at 16:30. The ensuing comedy act of waggling various bendy tubes up from our manhole, and vacuuming out our toilet through the window, was baffling at best. We were told that nothing could actually be fixed today, and a further quote for £1350 was sent 2 days later (although was promised the same day). The total cost for the slapstick pipe waggling-vacuuming routine was £192 for less than 30 minutes. We were lucky to escape with just that. No further diagnosis was made beyond that we’d already worked out for ourselves - that our soil vent pipe was blocked. No attempt whatsoever was made to unblock this, and instead the duo told us that they had to rush off to other customers. Several days later and our toilet was still unusable, and we were no further on but £192 poorer. The initial invoice also detailed how much work they had done and asserted (erroneously) that the toilet was now functional. As others have said, AVOID. Manage with a bucket and get someone local who you can trust. It cost us £192 to learn this lesson. The problem was eventually solved by Ryan from Bramley Drains in Leeds (would highly recommend!) who properly diagnosed the problem, and fixed it thoroughly and promptly.

Terrible Scam

Terrible. Linked us to another company called we fix 24 Ltd who attended for several hours at a vastly inflated hourly rate, did not fix the issue, then quoted for replacing multiple parts and additional labour. Feels like a complete con and I would strongly, strongly advise you avoid at all costs.

Take advantage of people!!!! Do not use

Really really bad experience! Was quoted £69 for a call out fee that took 4 and a half hours!!! Was never given an upfront hourly cost and when the plumber arrived he tried quoting £420 an hour. We politely declined and then the plumber said he’ll do the job on the side for £150. Very unprofessional and completely took advantage of us as we had just moved in and were desperate. The woman on the phone is so rude and ignored majority of our calls. When invoiced, they used a different company name (WeFix24) and they use multiple different phone numbers. AVOID!!! Scammers. Will be reporting.
