The worst bunch of scammers aroun- they also trade as WeFix24/7. The engineer turned up well late beyond the promised 1hour ETA. Then the admin lady tried to fleece me out of £400 by turning up and charging me for the full hour after their engineer went over by 5 minutes because he spent 14 minutes looking for his tools in his car. Then the conwoman who poses as both the booking admin and manager instructed his engineer to refuse to leave my property. I refused to pay until they accepted I was serious. NEVER USE THEM, HOW ARE THEY STILL OPERATING IS A JOKE AND A MYSTERY
The most expensive tap repair in history they charged me over a thousand pounds to fix leaking taps. Now having to call out someone else as they havent done a good enough job and they still leak. Absolute shoddy work. Not even replaced or taken out the old washers. DO NOT USE
Never use this company! Absolute rip-off!Their practices in how they present the terms and conditions is very misleading and should really be sent over for regulation. Plumber was good but definitely not worth the amount. For context, I effectively paid ~£500 for 40 mins work. This is because of the hidden fees and minimum period of an hour.
Absolutely rip off merchants!!! Completely taken advantage off - went from a £69 call out fee to 4 hours later £1850!!! Charged £80 for 3 plastic pipe stoppers! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! really wish I had read all the horrific reviews before making the initial contact.
I want to give 0 star stay away from them £269 per hour labour he had no tools looked at my boiler and in under 10 mins decided I needed 3 new elements at £800, £50 call out charge also 15% service charge. Also if you reply to the email it's a binding contract so PLEASE DONT REPLY. Got another plumber in Northan plumber and in under 40 minutes he fixed it no parts and only £100, Their bill would be £4000, also when I told Swift no he tried to say he was here 1 hour and was going to bill me an extra £269 for no work, good job my restaurant had CCTV. As soon as I pointed that out he demands the £50 call out. They are a CON company stay away and do not reply to them.
This company needs to be reported to the Trading Standards and shut down. They charge extortionate hourly prices (£279 p/h!!) which they only disclose once they're in your house. They charge more hours than they initially tell you - and beware, even 1 minute over the hour will be charged at a full extra £279! - and on top of that they don't even do a good job. My problem was not properly fixed after being charged nearly £2k for 3 hours and they refuse to give any compensation. They go by different names like WE FIX 24 LTD (this is the company name on the email they send you), and '24 HOUR -PLUMBER.' They operate extremely unethically, relying on people being in difficult situations to then completely exploit them. Pure scum. STAY AWAY from this company.
Company is fraudulent and a scam. Goes by the name of Wefix24 ltd. They provide both electric and plumbing services. There are a couple of one star reviews for Swift Electrician. They get you to agree to these terms and conditions by email and then charge exorbitant fees that are literally daylight robbery eg £800 for one hours work. The engineer/plumber won't leave until paid. They prey on people in emergency situations. They are not the same as We Fix London who are a respectable outfit and thanks to the confusion are receiving calls from disgruntled customers who have been scammed by Swift Plumbers/Swift Electrician. Report to trading standards immediately if you have any dealings with this company where you feel scammed, intimidated or a good service was not provided. Their website is false, they do not have the 5 star trustpilot reviews they say they have. Please Please call a different company if you have an emergency plumbing situation. Read the other reviews.
Absolute scam! Unfortunately this company and we fix 24/7 Ltd are awful. Not legally allowed to fix gas as after contacting the safe gas register neither the companies or engineer are qualified. Left a gas leak and then tried to blame us. Customer services are shocking and complaints department are no existent. Currently trying to claim money back but not sure this will happen… have reported but please do not use this company, see all the reviews and see they are not safe/legal!!!!!
This is my first review but honestly I had to leave a review after being practically scammed. There was a £50 call out fee which wasn’t so bad. Then they inform me I have to pay over £400 per hour for the engineer to work. I told the engineer I needed to think about it but he had already started taking a look at the pipes without my understanding while I’m sorting things out. He then says I need to pay £100 for the inspection fee as he had inspected the issue, for him to just take a look and tell me the pipe was blocked? I ended up having to pay £180 and got absolutely no work done. Diabolical. I called a different plumber the next day and paid £160 for sorting everything out. I even gathered that the information I had paid £100 for the previous day was completely false so even the inspection aspect doesn’t work. Honestly this is ridiculous stuff. Save yourself the trouble and look for another firm.
