Review Time
Had a bad repair carried out on a water pipe for over £500 for a 10 minute job. Area was covered up and I’ve only just realised after finding wet patches all over the wall and floor that the repair has been leaking. Called and told them and they said I’d have to pay for them to come out and fix. I now have to pay to have their bodged repair fixed plus all the other issues it’s caused.
Completely I don’t suggest . They charge too much money . Deffinegly you need to go to local Plummer triple cheaper than this annoying company . Plummer always wasting time and trying to save time for himself . It was horrible day for us and of the day he tried to charge 1300 pound for 2 hours job. Horrible company I paid 900 pound it’s not fair . I never ever suggest this guys and company . DONT USE THIS COMPANY PLEASE for your goodness.
This company is a scam. Lady on phone quoted me £69 call out fee which seemed reasonable but denied to tell me that on top of this there would be £299/hour charge + 15% fee + VAT so i ended up paying £500+ for a plumber to come out to stop the initial problem of my toilet flush not working but then tell me I needed a new part which would be best to do that through a local plumber who was cheaper!! The next day the flush had the same issue so £500 was spent on nothing! I feel completely taken advantage of and would not recommend this company to anyway.
Scammers! Only looking to charge customers without mentioning about the charges! They want to send engineers out to get the call-out fees at least! They wanted to bill me £345 per hour ex VAT + £85 call out charge inc VAT for a simple blocked drainage which I didn’t allow it and I fixed it within 10 minutes due to airflow problem. That could have caused a much costly problem if I allowed him to perform high pressure method despite I told him that the previous inspection mentioned the airflow problem. He told me it might take up to 2 hours so nearly £900 all together for a wrong diagnostic. Poor customer service too as the lady on the phone cut me twice as I asked her for an explanation! Stay away from this company! I lost £85 but I rather save a few people not falling in their trap!
I contacted Swift plumbers today when I noticed the ceiling leaking in my storeroom. It was from the bath tub in the room above. I spoke to Alex who wasted no time in assigning a plumber immediately. Akmal, our amazing plumber arrived shortly afterwards and fixed the issue promptly. We cannot thank Akmal enough, he is both a friendly and patient person. I would definitely recommend this company. I have nothing but praise to our engineer, Ionut Toma. We had to have sockets installed to a different place in our kitchen. Inout Donut went over the various options. He worked diligently and professionally. There was no.mess as he screened off area of the kitchen. The service offered was worth every penny. I will certainly be using this company again.
