Scam. Present themselves as We Fix (but trade as Swift Plumbers) so are in breach of trade descriptions (We Fix is an entirely separate company with much better reviews and not related to Swift) They also insist you sign up to onerous terms and conditions before any work commences. This immediately set alarm bells ringing. You can easily see how people would fall for this when there is a home emergency. Avoid at all costs.
ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They fool you into signing a contract that the job should be less than an hour then if the time goes one minute over they charge you £300ph plus vat then add on their ‘admin’ charges with one zone valve being changed on our water heating done in an hour bill was over £1000!!! Charged for 61mins so an extra £360!! For one minute! Refused to pay it & managed to negotiate it down to 1.5hrs still £750 for an hours work! Many counts of misrepresentation! Absolutely shameful scammers AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. They advertise a 60-minute emergency response, but the technician only arrived after 3.5 hours, without any updates or communication. This is clearly false advertising and completely unacceptable for a service marketed as urgent.The actual job was very small, involving a basic item worth around £20, yet I was charged over £500 — a price that is unjustifiable by any standard. The delay, lack of transparency, and excessive pricing make this feel like a scam rather than a legitimate service.I strongly advise others to avoid this company. They are misleading customers, overcharging for minor work, and not delivering on their promises. I will be reporting this to Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA).
Absolute scam -avoid at all cost, no communication, plumber arrived and started work, only managed to stop him by phoning company and insisting of overall price, knew about call out fee but wouldn't give any other details of cost via phone, plumber had no idea of cost but proceeded to dismantle sink trap, eventually got an email with cost, asked plumber to stop all work - paid call out which had increased to £80 ended up with worse leak!!! - DON'T USE!!!!
SCAM - avoid at all costs! This company is a blatant scam do not use them. The service and pricing model they tell you on the phone is a lie don’t waste your time, they will not quote you a price for the job instead they charge the call-out fee and £300 an hour (including time to go back to their warehouse for supplies) for average workmanship. You then get shouted at by their staff for questioning what they originally told you I’m 20yrs of property management this easily the worst case of a fraudulent service I have come across. Please save your money ey and go else where.
