Review Time
I ordered the 3in queen mattress topper. I had a very difficult time getting it out of the box due to the compression of the topper. Once I got it and let it sit for 24 hrs, I noticed that the topper wasn’t 3in but 2 1/2in. I sent an email and got a response right away. I was told it could take a week for the topper to reach its full height due them compressing it to deliver it. I waited a week. It’s still only 2 1/2in. I have emailed them more at least 3 times in the last 2 weeks(going on three now) without a response. I hope they don’t wait until my 30 day trial is over before they respond. I’m very disappointed and would like the situation rectified immediately.
I’ve been trying to get in touch with someone to return my pillow. I’ve sent multiple emails and text messages but haven’t received a single response. Now I’m stuck with this pillow and no way to return it. Very disappointing customer service.
UPDATE: Talatex promised in one email to ship my item from stock in another country to make up for their mistake in handling their inventory on their website. Two weeks later, they emailed saying it would be over 2 months before they restocked in my country and they refused to follow through on their previous offer to ship it to me from another country. Tehy believe the cost of international shipping is too high to keep me as a customer. This company has given me the complete run-around and made it very clear that they do not value me as a customer or care to take accountability for the trouble they have caused. Please save yourself a lot of time and trouble and don’t order from them. You will not get what you ordered. I bought one of their pillows on Amazon a couple years ago and loved it. So, I decided to order directly from their website. I waited an entire week with no shipping confirmation, despite the fact that they already charged my card. Then I got an email saying there was “a sudden surge in orders” and my item will not be back in stock for 1-2 weeks. The only options I was given were to wait longer or change to a different product. They offered me a 10% discount on a future order, but nothing to compensate me for this current inconvenience, and why would I want to order from them again if they don’t make this right first? I then went back to their website and the item still shows as being in stock and there is a promotional discount for 12% off. So they are either lying to me and making me wait weeks for an item they are selling to other people at a lower price or they are continuing to take orders on an out of stock item or maybe they are just scamming me. I have tried to email and am not getting a response. I also tried their website chat, which is always offline due to “the time difference”. Who can say what time zone they are in? They post business hours on their site, but do not specify the timezone. They have a Whatsapp # from the UK, but their chat is not active during the specified business hours in the UK timezone. I wonder if I need to cut my losses and open a dispute with my credit card to get my money back. I just really wanted the pillow I ordered and I am super disappointed in the way I am being treated.
The Original Pillow was too firm for me. There was no softer option offered in a pillow of the same height as the Original so I returned it. The return was a hassle requiring multiple emails. I made the mistake of using the pre printed return label that was offered which resulted in a ridiculous amount being deducted from my refund. I suggest only ordering from this site if you are absolutely sure you will keep the item.
I'm retired and live on a fixed income. My pillow was flat. I woke up with back and neck pain for months. I decided to splurge and buy one of your pillows. I'm so glad I did. I'm sleeping so much better. Thank you for making these pillows.
Nina and the Talatex team were amazing throughout. I had a problem with the shipper and my order didn’t arrive. Once I asked Talatex for help, they responded immediately and sent a replacement pillow. I received it in only a short time. Thank you for the wonderful customer service!
