Review Time
I have been using the Coconut Body Butter for years. But having bought a new tub recently I found firstly it was very expensive and secondly on using it. What the hell have you done to it! It used to be a really nice coconut smelling butter that absorbed into the skin. But the pot I have bought does not smell nice any more and leaves a disgusting sticky residue on my skin not absorbing at all! You have changed this product beyond recognition and I will not be buying body butter from you again! If it ain’t broke done fix it is the saying ! But you have actually broken this product!
Selling last years advent calendars without telling customers.My partner always buys me one every year at great expense.I Look forward to trying out new products,had my suspicions when opening each day it was all too familiar.Had he been told he wouldn’t have bought it again! I did complain and was given a gift receipt for its return.My partner was very embarrassed and upset I now have no advent calendar to open which is the highlight on the run up to Christmas.
Yesterday I visited the Body Shop in The Trafford Centre. I was served by Aimee whose customer care was exemplary. I was so impressed that you can exchange or request a refund on a product if you do not like it even after using it. Not many companies offer this. Thank you Aimee for making me feel valued as a customer. Yes products are a little pricey but as a gift it was worth it.
I used to love the products and would always stock up on the body butters in the sale when they were £7 each. Now you’re lucky even if you can find them online in the sale and they’re still highly priced. A full priced one is now £19 which for a tub that lasts a few weeks at most is ridiculous. I understand that costs for all businesses and products have increased but £19! Prices have increased so much it’s now out of reach for my pocket and a lot of others. Really disappointed.
I have several issues with BSOnce they get your email, you are bombarded, almost daily with emails. I don’t read them now unless it says sale.It’s too much - please stopI didn’t look at online sale as I’m building a gift box for a couple of upcoming BD’s & needed some Hemp hand creme.Placed the order, it was acknowledged, (I think, was so long ago) & then .. nothing.A week goes by, I’d almost forgotten about it & the excited anticipation had long faded, & I get an email saying it was despatched, then it’s a couple more days before it arrives.. Too Long BS … way too long - shabby in this day & age.Finally, I opened my squashed box (which looked run over) & unwrapped it.It didn’t look like much to be honest. A lot of money for not much at all. Luckily I qualified for a freebie gift, but I still sat there, deflated. The quality is not what it once was. All looks a bit “cheap” & my genuine feedback is that my expectation was met with poor service & inferior products. Could do better BS. There are some excellent companies Man Cave for instance who provide quick efficient service, with a far superior product, that looks, feels & smells much much better - better value, better for your skin & better for you!
