Design fault; not practical user friendly

I have used Body Shop Foundation for years, simply years. ( I am a senior citizen). But, the latest innovation is not good. Fresh Nude Foundation: product as usual, packaging one out of ten. Old bottle had a push dispenser the bottom of which rose as the product was used. Result no waste, all product used and it was always obvious how much was left. New bottle, now glass, has a regular push dispenser the tube of which does not actually touch the bottom. It is also very, very difficult to see how much is left. One needs to prise off the cap and insert a child's paintbrush down to scoop up the residue. I calculate that there are about 25 days of application left. That's a lot of inconvenience.I'd be grateful if BS could review the dispensing method which is a backward step in functional design.

Disheartening

Last week I placed 2 orders online. Separate orders on separate days. Items were shown as in stock. 3 days later I was emailed to say the items were not in stock. Both orders, different items out of stock. I complained. It takes a lot for me to complain. The only other company I have complained about is trespass and one look at their trustpilott will show you why. So anyway the response I recieved was not very satisfying. The body shop basically said because they cancelled my orders and no money was taken they don't have to honour my orders and then tried to upsell me by sending a link to their latest offers. When I am already very annoyed with the service to then try and push more sales on to me when I feel the 1st issue has been resolved unsatisfactory, has made this my 2nd to last worse online shopping experience.

i bought a product called Drops of…

i bought a product called Drops of Youth peel which my skin reacted to. On returning it for a refund i was asked if i took a before photo?er no! i was then told i must have a hairy face as this has happened to others. i DONOT have a hairy face, and should i not have been warned if they knew it could happen. I was advised to use it on the rest of my face[ obviously the hairless parts]. i didnot realise the shop was a franshise and has its own returns policyand refuses refunds . i will NEVER buy from from this company again, back to Boots the chemist, never had a problem there.

WAS GOING TO HAVE A BIG SPLURGE IN THE SALE - FORGET IT - WEBSITE ATROCIOUS! TRIED USING LAPTOP INSTEAD OF PHONE EVEN THOUGH I USE PHONE FOR EVERYTHING ELSE - MADE ME SIGN IN AS SAID I HADNT USED WEBSITE BEFORE DESPITE THE FACT I'M ON THEIR MAILING LIST, WOULDNT LOAD, THEN WOULDN'T LOAD PICTURES, JUMPS ABOUT. I GIVE UP.

What a refreshing change!

Other companies should take note !! I contacted The body shop with an issue on products I purchased (and had used a few times ) there was no problem with issuing me a full refund once I sent product back . Great customer service!! Quick ,painless and hassle free. Would definitely purchase from them again !

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They made recommendations for any product I needed as well as gave me the best deal to get discounted items. Store smells so good.

Good but not perfect

Lovely products! But a little overpriced. Also the staff don't leave you alone for a second. Feel like I'm being watched.. Sorry to be that person but good customer service doesn't need to be shoved down my throat

I have been a customer of what was a fantastic store with really great products for many years, but no more. The website is just frustrating. Many products have been discontinued. Sales have products that are no longer in stock. Products that are in stock at the time of the order, but are not available upon dispatch. If that is not enough getting an order with products that I had not ordered to be told I have to return them. Enough is enough The Body Shop is no longer worth the effort. A dreadful store with dreadful customer service

Body Shop - terrible website!

Have finally given up with the Body Shop’s website. Awful search engine - you search for specific items and it doesn’t bring them up in the results. I’ve tried to search specifically for sale items and it brings up non sale stuff and when I click on “email me whenIn stock” it never does. May go into their shop on my rare visit to town or just shop online elsewhere.

Bought a camomile gentle eye make up…

Bought a camomile gentle eye make up remover from The Body Shop. This product is anything but gentle, it stripped the oil from the skin around my eyes and they were left so wrinkled that they looked like the eyes of someone really old. An awful product. Unfortunately I didn't keep the receipt, so I couldn't return it, because I thought the product would be a good one as it was from The Body Shop.
