Would give minus stars offered discount for Black Friday does not work contacted customer service who was incompetent in resolving the matter it states 15 percent off and if you are a member 20 percent off the code did not work so disappointed wanted some Christmas stocking fillers why offer you discount codes if it does not work !!!!!
I've not used the Bodyshop for years, and the last time I bought it wasn't online, so my first experience was very easy and good.Buying products are well spaced out and understandable descriptions used. Including ingredients. I also noticed that most products in the Bodyshop are not using Palm oil by products. Palmitate as an example. I am against the use of Palm oil, and so therefore boycott all companies who use it in their products. My products arrived intact, I ordered the face rub that lifts your dead skin, I haven't used it yet, but the bottle is a nightmare to open, so make sure your fingers are able to open this, or you may have to wait for someone who has got stronger hands to do this for you.The box was over-packed with paper and plastic, I don't think it was necessary. I only had 2 items of the same size, and they turned up in a box, that was too big for them.Considering the Bodyshop are a green company, their footprint is getting bigger, by using boxes that are too big for items, and extra plastic packaging.
The online shopping experience is just AWFUL!1. Can't add items to the basket from multiple open tabs - why? The basket only adds items if I add them all from the same open webpage, otherwise the basket doesn't update. That's super annoying - also happens after I've enabled all cookies!2. After I managed to collect all my items in the basket, I wanted to check out - a new tab opened when I reset my password and logged in again. I went on to change my address, etc, and then poof! All my basket items disappeared and there was nothing to pay for!3. I tried again... remembering to apply the Black Friday discount code in the basket area, but when I selected my address and card to pay in the checkout area, the discount disappeared and I had already clicked "Pay"...Really disappointed with the experience - won't try and shop online there again. They should really focus on their online presence! We can't go into the shops in person for the awesome products in lockdown, but looks like we can't easily shop on their website either!!!
I've been a Body Shop club member for years. My patience finally snapped today. The website is consistently poor: slow to refresh, often jumping on the screen and very laggy, but worst of all, items don't add to the Basket and card payments are often not correctly processed.Today, Body Shop did a blinder: failed to apply my Rewards voucher, took the WRONG SUM OF MONEY (over charged) my account and failed to consequently allow me to select an offer heavily promoted on their site. The Customer Service is awful and the ability to get things corrected is terrible. The website has been dreadful for years and appears to be getting worse.I like Body Shop products, but the website and service is so poor that I don't like shopping with them anymore.
On 5th September I purchased products, applied a £5 reward voucher and was delighted to receive a free £13 gift bag....but it’s now 25th September and they have never arrived!I’ve contacted customer services and informed the parcel had been located...but three days later when I followed up again I was told the location of my parcel was being investigated.Really disappointed. I’m hoping my products and gift will turn up, or be replaced in full. I am reluctant to order on line again.
I purchased some products online, when they were delivered some shower gel had spilled all over the contents of the box. This was because whoever packed it left the lid up.I have tried to get in contact with the body shop to request a refund but it is difficult to find an email address or get in contact by phone. There is a chat line with a 15 hour wait. It looks like I will have to count my losses which means I will be very reluctant to buy from the body shop again.
Their products are extremely overpriced basic formulas loaded with lots of perfume. My skin god a bad reaction from using them. I stopped using them years ago because of their outdated ingredient lists. Advise to executives: please get rid of all the chemicals and perfumes you use and stick to more gentle formulas. If you do that, maybe you will become a trendy brand that can compete with current brands.
Wow can’t recommend their products enough. I get y body shop stuff of a friend who is a consultant and wow they are amazing. They do everything from skin care to house hold things. I would definitely recommend their products as they have skin care products for all skin types.
