Review Time
Ordered online from Body shop for a mothers day gift on Monday the 8th March 2021 . The delivery courier was Hermes with a tracking number from Body shop. The delivery for my postage charge was to be 2-3 working days, so i work out Thurs or Fri for the items to arrive in time for mothering Sunday. Never arrived...so i contacted them and only to be told we received your email and we will get back to you soon, Today the 15TH March (7 Days after ordering) Hermes couriers send an email saying they have now received my goods...what delivery charge am i paying for..3-5 days (or) anytime..because it has taken 7 days for the courier to recieve them when it shouls have already been delivered in 3-5 days as i have already paid for this service. Absolute rip off..plus a poor mothers day as i had received the gifts i had ordered on time. RUBBISH COMPANY..you need to sort out your customers and soon or you will not have any to sell to. Unhappy customer ..soon to be a customer you have lost!!!
I placed an order eight days ago and I’ve only just heard from the delivery company to say that they have just received the item from the body shop.I will likely receive the item 2 weeks after placing the order.This isn’t the service I would’ve expected from such a well-established company but now having read the reviews it seems very normal.A big thumbs down from me body shop
Absolutely terrible experience! I bought £25 worth of products online beginning of January... I had a dispatch notification saying on 6th Jan saying my parcel has been handed over to DPD and would be delivered 7th Jan. after multiple communications with DPD, they never actually received my parcel from the body shop! I have contact the body shop multiple times. I was advised it would be looked into and someone will contact me, of course that didn’t happen! As a well known company, they are happy to rip people off, take their money and then ignore them completely hoping they’d forget! I will never again buy a single product from them either in shop or online!
Absolutely terrible...And I think they just don't care. Their customer service only have online chat, I normally have to wait 20min for customer service to come online. The first time makes the order from them online and will be the last time ever. I made my order and it arrived after a month... The first package they send out and never arrived, I contacted them twice to ask for a replacement, that was two weeks later I placed my order. They still said, well, that's a new order and another two weeks. I asked if should put my order first as I placed the order a long time ago, the customer service just says, they cannot, because they don't have any contact.
Echo many other reviewers. The website is a horrible thing to use. How is it this bad!? Managed to place an order, which did arrive within a week which was ok. But one £20 product was missing, and another there in its place. Waited over 30 mins on live chat to advise. Even though live chat initially noted response should be within 9 mins, I waited and waited over half hour. Eventually I was looking on a different website and kept checking back every so often. Then no notification when they finally responded. And when I began to write they closed it down as they'd waited 4 minutes while I was elsewhere. Ironically only to send me to a feedback response form! Pretty rubbish around experience.
I have bought a few things from The Body Shop this year and every time they have arrived within a few days and I have always been really pleased with the products. The best is the seaweed gel wash which has been really good at clearing my skin.
I visited the Lowry outlet today and the Arndale store out. I have to say though the service in the Lowry outlet was amazing and really informative, it’s really nice to see someone with so much passion for the product. I only went in for a present for Christmas hoping to spend as little as possible, I ended up spending triple that.Great work Daniela!!!
What’s become of the standard of customer service The Body Shop now provides??? It’s appalling and far from acceptable.I had an issue with one of their products ( Pomegranate & Raspberry Reed Diffuser ) which I emailed them about several times over and not one person from the company even bothered to respond. I even put an enquiry on their social media page but it was removed by them I presume just the following day.Don’t The Body Shop care about customer issues, I’m guessing they decided just to completely ignore me until I went away.I’m so not impressed at all and shall take my custom elsewhere.
Worst customer service + WebshopI placed an order a bit more than 3 weeks ago. I had multiple attempt for them to say that something is wrong with the shipment and they should take a look at it. I was given a tracking number after 3 weeks later and told that I should just go to the postbox and pick up the packet. But Posten's app says that the packet is on halt because of a problem. I called posten and was told that Body shop uses the same tracking number for multiple packet that causes big problem.All in all, Body shop messed up with the packets and do not even apologize with their mistake. Their customer service provides wrong information, and they don't even bother to fix their mistake. I have been trying to call their customer service and have been waiting for an hour, nobody picks up the phone. I've been waiting on their chat support, nobody is there either. I am so disappointed with bodyshop how terrible their customer service, and how dummy their IT to generate the same tracking number for multiple packets. I expected that bodyshop to send a new packet as it is their mistake with the delivery.
