The knives are wonderful and were a gift for my husband who loves them. He almost doesn't want to use them and just admires them every time he walks into our kitchen. We have had many compliments on them. They are beautiful to look at and lovely to use. So glad we purchased them.
I love my bushcraft knives! I use them every night when I cook! They are well made and really make me look forward to cooking! I can’t wait to purchase more, maybe even the full set soon! I take them with when I go camping, cooking for friends at their place and everyone always compliments them!
These are the best knives, I purchased these for my Son and he loves them, he is a Staff Sergeant In the army when he is home he is the chef as he loves to cook! They are beautifully made and very sharp! They were delivered in a very timely manner We would both highly recommend, Mom is going to get a set soon🥰
We purchased the Dynasty series Emperor set a couple of months ago. I bought this complete set because I have already purchased pieces and parts of other sets and have loved these knives. The Dynasty series is not only the sharpest out of the box knife set I have owned (including the professional S series of Henkels knives) it’s utterly beautiful! Personally I strop my knives before each use and clean the blade and lightly oil the handle scale every use and the wood is becoming so much more beautiful with use. I feel incredibly safe and capable while using this knife set along with all the other pieces and parts of the cooking guild knives I have. If you are in the market for new knives, I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend the cooking guild in any/all series to fill those needs.
Purchased the cleaver as a gift for my dad and I would absolutely purchase again. I received the order within 10 days of my purchase which I was very impressed with. Packing was small and had little waste. The knife is beautiful and a great conversation piece. It's sturdy and feels expensive. It came sharp and ready to go with a little care instruction card which told my dad how to prevent rust and get the most from his knife. We are both extremely happy with the cleaver. It's comfortable, functional and looks super cool.
I ordered the men with a pot cleaver/knife. Product arrived ahead of schedule. That was great. The knife itself comes up short. I needed to hone it to give it a finer edge. Not unexpected I’ve had to do this with other knives. They say it has a full tang, I will believe that if they say so, but the knife truly needs a bolster. Even with my small hands my index finger touches the blade and because the blades edge is only 1/2 inch away from the handle it is uncomfortable at best.Put that together with a wood handle that has not been properly treated, the moment water touched the wood handle the grain raised, it simply is not a knife that you could use to say replace a chiefs knife. It simply is not ergonomically designed well at all. Love the shape of the blade, in my opinion could be 1/2 to 1 inch longer, but the shape works very well. If the details were only addressed this would be a great knife. Again only my opinion but the short cuts, no bolster, a handle that is to short, simply make this a novelty piece. I regret purchasing this knife
