Great knives, great service, prompt delivery

I’m expecting my latest purchase to arrive on Monday, 1/10/23. I started out with an ONYX Special Edition Hantā for myself and love it so much I bought one as a Christmas gift for my brother. Then I bought the Dynasty Series Petty Knife for myself. Love it, too! Then I bought the Nomad Series Petty Knife as a gift for my daughter. So, as you can tell, I’m a convert to your knives. Beautiful, sharp AF, a pleasure to use in the kitchen. I have them hanging on a great wall-mounted magnetic wooden holder. It’s made in Minnesota from wood harvested in Michigan. The company is wooDsom.

Two knives and a Facebook ad meal!

I ordered two of the knives for a Christmas present. I had contacted customer service to make sure they’d get here before Christmas. They responded promptly assuring me that they’d arrive. Not only did they arrive but they arrived early. Tonight was the first night we used the knives. We made one of the dishes on Facebook which turned out to be fantastic!! The knives are SHARP! Very nice and worked very well. Food and knives…perfect.

Nonexistent customer service

Received set as a gift, low quality and dull right out of the box, cutting bread and other soft foods proved challenging. Sent knives back with tracking within 30 day warranty period. They have now been in possession of the return for one week with ZERO customer engagement, acknowledgement of return or confirmation of receipt. Will be contacting credit provider to file a dispute. Totally unacceptable, negligent and deceptive business practices. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS MERCHANT.UPDATE: Miraculously, within 48 hours of posting this review I received a full refund. I would like to add that I opted to return the merchandise based on the information available on the website and at no point was there any customer engagement or acknowledgement that a return would be accepted, no RMA or email from a live CSR. The review stays.

Bought a set of knives during black Friday, no refund no knives.

I bought a set of kitchen knives from them on Black friday last year, and it's been a month and there was no update on the status of my order. Then found out that my knives have been sent back to the seller. And this was only after I have been continually asking them about the status of my order. So I asked for a refund and they said they'd give me a full refund after a few days, but it's been 2 weeks and still no refund. Honestly, I just wanted a set of knives, not having to put with this much drama.

Update: excellent response from company after disappointment

Update as of 01/23/23: I did finally received my refund through Paypal for the shipment that I never received. On 02/11/23, I received an email from the company that they had changed their method of shipping for international customers. As my husband was still very interested in these knives, I ordered again. Note that it cost a bit more than when I previously ordered as they are now using FedEX for international (canadian) shipping (I had to pay shipping and duty at the border). I ordered 02/11/23, the knives were shipped on 02/12 and I received them 02/16. Husband is very happy with the knives. Kudos to the company for responding to customer complaints in a satisfactory manner. Would order from them again. :) Adding an update as of 01/19/23: As per the response below and a separate email I received, they were to going to issue a refund that I could expect within 3-5 days. It is now 12 days later, I have not received my refund, still do not have the knives. I just sent another email to the support email, we will see what they say now. We ordered a set of knives that were shipped on 12/06/22. We have not yet received them, the tracking information shows no update (and no way to get any update). Repeated emails to the support email have been unanswered. Totally unhappy with this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

I absolutely love my knives

I absolutely love my knives! I got them as a gift for Christmas, but I had been asking for them for the last two years. My daughter in law has them too and I just don’t know how I had been cooking without them. I’ll be purchasing them as gifts this year as well.

Perfect knife

This was a Christmas gift for my wife and she and I loves it. I just wished I would have bought all 3! The price is great for a high quality knife. The company is very responsive and wants to hear your opinion. I will purchase more from The Cooking Guild in the future.

Does this company exist?

HiPLEASE CAN YOU RESPOND to my email. I made an order on the 17th December This was supposed to be a xmas present for my Dad and now a month later, it still has not arrived? What is the hold up? It seems like lots of people are complaining on Trust Pilot about the same problem with your company. If you cannot send the package then it is within my rights to request a refund. You cannot just take my money and not post out the item. Please can you respond to this
