Review Time
Honestly, I love the knife I received. Although it was delivered in a broken sheath. When I opened the knife (it was in sheath) I took it out to hold and immediately cut my hand. The blade had gone through the sheath and I was unaware. The sheath is very important as this knife will be used in travel and it is unsafe if the sheath can’t protect the blade. This was a Christmas gift. I was hopeful for the customer service team to help me resolve this issue in a timely manner. But it’s been radio silence with their customer service for weeks. I work in sales, so I tried to give some grace in the situation being the holiday season. But there’s been a complete lack of communication. I bought this knife with plans of adding to the collection, but it looks like I’ll be taking my money elsewhere. The customer service does not make this knife worth it.
I'm very disappointed with my first and possibly only experience purchasing from The Cooking Guild. I have made a purchase on 12th December and yet to receive my goods, have had no update on tracking link (looks as though the products have not even been handed to courier) with no company update whatsoever. I have contacted support multiple times and submitted a form through the website and received no acknowledgement or reply to any of these communications. Really disappointing and looks like I will not recieve my products or a refund. To The Cooking Guild, if you are reading your reviews, can you please check your emails and get back to me ASAP.
I made an order for the Serbian clever on the 11/12/22. I waited 15 working days for the item, checking the tracked delivery info each day. The item had not left the country of origin in the whole 15 working days. I contacted the cooking guild to find out why this was and was then told customs had rejected some orders. Fair enough, I was slightly frustrated this was not communicated to me but they asked if I wanted the item resent or my money back. I asked for the item to be resent as it is a xmas gift. It took the cooking guild 2 weeks to process another order to be sent and I am back to square one again. UPS say they are waiting to receive the package which was supposedly sent to them 8 working days ago. The cooking guild are now ignoring my emails. I am going through PayPal to claim my money back. This website is a scam, please read the other reviews before you make the same mistake as me.Update 11/02 - After leaving this review you can see The Cooking Guild replied with a message saying they would reach out to me. Nothing of the sort has happened. I have emailed them again this week and still had no reply.
I wouldn't even give this 1 star!!!!!Placed my order on the 23rd of November and still haven't received it!I tried to email the cooking guide where i spent $450, to see what's happening with my order. I got an email back saying they can process my order AND GIVE ME A FULL REFUND.And now I'm getting completely ignored. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!!!!!!!!!
I’m happy with my purchases. Very solid made knives and very sharp. I feel these will last forever and can be passed down to future generations. I can testify to this since I have knives and serving forks that have been passed on to my wife from her family and these are from the 40’s. So these will be in that category
I would give this place 0 stars if it was possible!I placed my order in the beginning of August, with the promise of receiving it within 15-25 business days. It was purchased as a present for the 30th of September, but it never arrived within the promised time, and I had no gift to give even though I ordered this month's ago! I wrote to the customer service, and they did nothing but being rude towards me and telling me to be patient! It's been over two month's now, do you still think i should be patient?!!I'm so disappointed, and I would never recommend shopping at this place. For all I know, this place is a scam and you'll probably never receive your purchase!
Ordered the ultimate Bushcraft bundle and it just arrived today. I am absolutely thrilled with everything it contained! The quality of the knives and the sheets is outstanding. Great communication during the shipping process. I would absolutely order from this company again.
