Review Time
Bought our 2 years ago and is already falling apart:( Stitching started to let go, starting to see cracks in the material. When you place the order, they have brands and sizes of different hot manufactures, you pick the brand and model you have, and you would just assume it would fit, nope. After 10 weeks our original email, we finally received a reply. They tried to blame us, wowsers, how's that for customer service. Offered us a "20% discount" for new skin. Yep, thats their 7 year warranty policy.😳 Complete junk, don't waste your money!
I bought from The Cover Guy at the end of Covid (2022) when other suppliers were very backlogged. Saved a few dollars, but not substantial. After less than two years the leather on the hinge is cracking and separating. Naturally I contacted them for warranty help. Not! 1st, no response from the warranty email so I contacted sales/info. End result, they said this issue happens some times but it is not covered under warranty. They will be more than happy to sell me some material so I can repair it myself. NOT!Don't buy from these guys. They do not support their product.
Don't buy from this company! My hot tub cover started molding right away. After reading some reviews looks like some others have had the same issue. I have been contacting this company for month about it. All they say is they are researching it. I have had two other covers in the past and this is not a normal issue. After reading other reviews I wish I would not have purchased form this company. I am going to have to buy another cover but it will not be from them.
I placed a order for a Floating thermal blanket after reviewing my order I Realized I had sent my order to my old address. I called and talked with someone to explain what happened. They verified my order had not shipped yet but told me it would cost me over $300. to simply change the shipping address and was to late to cancel the order even though it was not a custom order. So I had to call the people at the address it was going to and ask them to look for the package I called Cover guy to get a tracking number so I could get a better idea when the package would arrive, I got no answer so I left a message asking for some tracking information and a return call. I got nothing but Crickets. I was Intending on ordering a full Deluxe cover also But I think I will take my business elsewhere. No Thanks 👎
I received my cover but the handles are on the wrong sides of the cover. They were placed on the front & backs instead of the sides. So completely unless. Sent several emails to all email address on the website and still have not received a response.
Once they have your $$ they couldn't care less about you if there is an issue. Can't talk to a person on the phone and take weeks to respond to emails. I've owned hot tubs for 30 years and have never had mold develop under my cover including the cover I replaced. Terrible service after the sale. I wish I did business with a place that takes phone calls.
I can't speak to the quality of there products, but their customer service is very, very bad.....if you are fortunate enough for them to answer the phone. Don't bother leaving a message. They will not call back. Ordered a cover lift. They charged me for it, but never delivered it.
I purchased a new hot tub cover 3 1/2 years ago. After the first 10 months the cover stitching was failing on the handle and the corners. When I called to complain they said it was my fault. How was this my fault??? After a few calls and sending pictures they sent a replacement vinyl cover and charged me $50 for shipping…. Fast forward now, that replacement cover is total trash. The center seem is completely fallen apart, stitching has failed. Total garbage of a cover. Don’t waste your money here.
