Titan is an absolutely HORRIBLE company with even worse customer service! Ordered their 9 barbell holder. The unit arrived with a significantly bowed top, scratches/nicks (the box was in perfect shape), exposed metal from missing powder coat on the exterior, and completely uncoated interior pipes that were rusted (right where my expensive barbells would sit). Reached out to customer service about the issues. Received a prompt reply offering for me to keep the defective stand and they'd send a replacement or issue a full refund as an apology for the issues. I opted for the latter. They then responded back and said they misspoke and I'd actually need to send it back for a replacement or refund. At that point, I had already started working to salvage the original unit (bending the top, cleaning up rust, etc.). At which point, they responded and said they'd instead offer me a 10% ($10) refund for my troubles (this is the CURRENT sale price on a documented defective unit). Essentially, this "apology" was to sell me a "scratch and dent" unit... for the current price of a brand new unit (which they also wouldn't honor in the first place, despite the sale starting before the item even arrived). Talk about insulting. I'll never make the mistake of ordering from this terrible company and their blatantly copied designs ever again. Sometimes you truly do get what you paid for! I can't encourage you enough, spend a little more and deal with a reputable company.Continuing with the saga of this deplorable service, the company provided me with a FedEx return pickup request and accompanying tracking number. However, unsurprisingly at this point, the tracking number they gave me is invalid. So, FedEx has the package but I have no way of tracking it and Titan hasn't responded to my email letting them know. Fortunately, having zero trust in Titan, I have detailed pics of everything from packaging to handing it to the driver. I'm therefore confident I'll be receiving my money back, one way or another. I CANNOT WAIT to be forever done with this company!
I needed a leg press machine that would fit my home gym area (re:garage) and also would be a good investment. If you purchase a single movement unit, as in this leg press which literally only is for a leg press-although if rig a bench under it, it can function as a psuedo-chest press as well- it better be worth it. Needless to say, this does deliver. Pro's:-very compact-unit arrived in 2 days-most important: it serves extrememly well as a leg press unit, i feel my quads workingCon's:-you have to lubricate the two sliding poles out of the box (a spray bottle of lubricant came with mine)-instructions honestly were confusing. The numbers didnt match in correspondance for certain things, but the overall pictures helped a ton-racking system with the handles is somewhat inconvenient. You do get used to it though, just a very minor thing to noteOther Things to keep in mind:-i was a okay backsquatter, so my concern was if I would quickly max out this machine. I've been sticking with high reps and use it as a secondary movement with absolutely no problems. However, even if you wanted to load it past the 405lb limit, I believe the unit will hold up, just put a plate or heavu dumbell on the sides to hold it down. And if you wanted to use it as a primary movement, you can very well do that as well-if you're too tall maybe the dimensions won't work? You should probably watch some Youtube reviews to see how others fit on it. I'm 5'9" and I believe it's just right-i don't think this an issue but just to keep in mind, due to your particular leverages you might have to stick a yoga mat/foam block under your lower back/lumbar in order to prevent butt wink/back rounding in the bottom position.Overall 9/10 product! I wouls recommend this to anyone
Ordered an adjustable bench and received a flat bench instead. I emailed Titan Fitness about the shipping error and they replied within one business day. They refunded my money, since the item was purchased from the scratch and dent sale section they let me keep the item. I was impressed by their customer service and how quickly they responded to my email.
