Avoid this company at all costs.We spent a total of £221.32 on an order including shipment costs back on the 1st July 2024 on a basin. The delivery stated that it would be 2-3 business days guaranteed.It is now the 16th July and still no sign of this delivery so have been without a basin now for best part of 2 weeks… the plumber had turned up to fit the basin yesterday and we have had to fork out a hefty call out fee as the basin was still not here despite the delivery timescales provided by trade superstore, we ensured to book the plumber plenty of time after purchasing basin but clearly still not enough for trade superstore online. The only way of actually getting through to this company is email as they just don’t answer the phone. We weren’t made aware of any delays until we actually contacted them ourselves, when they responded they promised it would be within a week, that week has now passed and still no sign of the delivery.I have requested a refund on at the very least the delivery costs and been refused that, also been refused any refunds at all. It’s honestly sickening that a company can act like this, how can a shipment cost not be refunded when we didn’t receive the service that the shipment cost was covering?! We’ve also had to fork out costs on plumbers call out fees so all in all this company has cost us a small fortune…. And still no delivery!!The company has said that the courier attempted delivery which is totally false as I have been in every single day waiting for this basin to turn up so that’s totally incorrect. Also had been advised that when delivery will be attempted, we would receive a text to say
I purchased some building materials from this company, paid and received an email stating that I would shortly be contacted about delivery.
A week later & no email so I contacted them. I was told that the goods that I had ordered were not in stock. They obviously knew this when I placed the order but chose to take my money anyway.
I was advised by Megan Steer, Customer Support 8 days ago that I would be refunded.
Despite numerous emails, no refund.
I have now raised the matter with PayPal to recover my money & with Trading Standards.
Trade Superstore Online are rogue traders, check out their other feedback (something I wish I'd done before my purchase).
If you purchase goods from them, you are unlikely to receive them & unlikely to get a refund.

Really disappointed. I ordered cement, and a specialist fireboard. Prices were fair, but crucially no exact delivery date was supplied, from dealing with similar companies I was expecting 3 to 5 days. 7 days later no sight of order, eventually 2 weeks later cement was scheduled for delivery by local Travis Perkins who phoned me to check details, I informed them I had cancelled the order 5 days earlier, so order never left TP. Now informed I will be refunded less 25%. My advice would be to avoid this middle man order placement company, poor system, poor customer service.
I wish I could zero stars but unfortunately thats not an option.Do NOT use this company, literally the worst customer service I've dealt with in many many long years in the trade.Ordered some doors which were meant to be delivered with two days but actually took a week. One of there doors was damaged once we removed from packaging to install, which was three days after they had been delivered. On discovering the damage I sent an email to the customer service team so they could arrange a replacement, only to be told that they aren't prepared to do anything because we hadn't reported the damage within 48 hours of the doors being delivered.Not anywhere in my emails once the doors were ordered does but say that all items must be checked within 48 hours of delivery.Regardless of that UK consumer law dictates that a consumer has 30 days to report faulty goods, to claim a refund.Apparently Trade Superstore Online are above the law and don't need to adhere to the rules, regardless of their in house policies.Reported to trading standards for being an absolute shambles of a company!!!
After a 2 week wait they sent me the wrong item customer service responded quickly but sent out a different but still wrong item and now they won't respond to my messages at all it's been 6 weeks and I don't have what I ordered and it seems there is no way to get a refund or the correct item from them as they just ignore you when there is a problem. DO NOT BUT FROM TRADE SUPERSTORE!
Delivery was within one week, email to show it was on track and delivery guy very helpful and carried the goods in. I was so worried after reading reviews on here but experienced zero issues. The company delivered on time and for a great price. I would definitely use this company again. Thank you again to such a kind delivery man.
Placed an order online over 2 weeks ago for 2 doors and was given no delivery date. No contact number for order updates so sent an email asking when delivery would be. The answer I got back mentioned no date and just said the order is being processed. Received a message yesterday that 1 door is being delivered today with no mention of the second. Went online to check what's happening with the second door and yesterday it was updated to 'removed' from the order. Zero explanation and no communication at all. I paid for a door that has now been removed and have no idea what's happening?
Updated- boards arrived today out of the blue..so changing the review. No damage so all good - communications really the only thing that let the company down. Maybe just give the customer an indication and expectation of delivery.. say 10-14 daysGives the company the breather before customers chase and also the chance to give people a scheduled delivery date. Most people will accept the delay vs lower costs… Not looking good so far- No delivery info at all. I was hesitant with half the reviews good and the other half bad… Should have gone elsewhere. This is my first order for a self build project which could have earned them thousands. I ordered cement board 9 days ago. Chased as nothing heard apparently they are investigating with the transport dept. 2 days later still nothing so chased again on the phone no on the response email.. Apparently they don’t talk about orders on the phone… Email chased again.. not holding my breath.. it now holding the project up so looking elsewhere.
Placed & paid for order & delivery charge on 12th Jan for bathroom tiled panels. Stated on website in store & next day delivery. Joke. Had to keep ringing for update on delivery. Was given delivery date 11th Feb, guess what no delivery. Rang numerous times & got same answer "waiting for transport". I even suggested collecting goods, "waiting for them to come in stock" was the reply. I kept ringing every day. Finally got this order 16th Feb. This company has cost me a lot of money, with loss of earnings, paying extra for skip, had to put customer up in hotel as I wouldn't leave her without a useable bathroom. Disgusting service. Will never use again
