They confirmed that they could do a sworn translation to Brazilian Portuguese that would be accepted by official government organisms in Brazil. I even asked to confirm for the specific organism and they did.They DO NOT have sworn translation services for Brazil (Brazil government is very picky about how this is done).They delivered something I couldn't use and I had to recur to TrustPilot to have my case attended since I was told the mistake was mine for hiring the wrong service (although I had received a custom offer).In the end, they did provide a refund.
It was a simple translation which I emailed them of the Death Certificate of my Brother who died recently in Greece... Its a simple name, place, & date of death etc... They messed up the numeric date which didn't need any translation at all and declared him dead 3 months earlier & also at the wrong time... After pointing out their incompetence I decided to really check their new translation, & also discovered that the Extremely Important 'Security Identifier' number was wrong!!! They couldn't even, copy & paste it from the digital copy which would absolutely ensure that it is correct. They rather relied on the human error from typing it out... Considering Translayte is a reputable company that's deals with important Court Documents & Visas etc where Reference Numbers are Paramount... This is Extremely Unprofessional & Incompetent... They Would Not Offer me a refund but instead, a further delay by having someone else translate it & proof read... I have No Confidence in their work anymore.
It is a total trash of a translation company. They are falsely advertising sworn translations, and in the end they are delivering crap with their "certificate" and a signature of some managing director. STAY AWAY!!! This is really just a huge scam of a company. NEVER rely on them if you need any sort of an official translation. "Certificates" do not get accepted by official bodies, do not let yourselves be scammed by this ridiculous company.
I am very dissatisfied with the quality and timing of this service.I ordered a certified translation and paid extra for priority delivery, which was advertised as 24 hours. Due to strict deadlines, timing was critical for me.The first version was delivered 36 hours later, already outside the promised timeframe. More importantly, it contained a serious mistake in my date of birth — not a spelling error, but a completely incorrect date. For certified documents, this is unacceptable.I requested corrections, but the revised versions still contained multiple additional errors. Each correction required more waiting, and the process continued for almost a full week. Because of these repeated mistakes and delays, I missed all of my deadlines, and the translation became useless to me.If you need an accurate and timely certified translation, I would not recommend this service.2nd star only for partial refund.
Very disappointing experience. I requested an officially recognized Turkish–Portuguese translation, and only after the work had already started I was told that they could not provide a sworn translation for this language pair. Despite multiple questions from their side during the process — clearly showing they knew what was required — this crucial limitation was never communicated upfront. Their explanation felt inconsistent, and I was expected to accept only a partial refund even though the service did not meet the agreed purpose. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them.
