Good Product, Poor Support

While I appreciate the product I have, I've been inundated with emails related to a previous activation code, urging me to return. I hesitated to unsubscribe, fearing I might miss important updates for my current plan. After numerous unanswered emails, I tried calling but found it impossible to reach a real person. The automated system directed me to a bot, which eventually led to a request for my credit card details to resolve an issue I didn't want to pay for. I just need someone to assist with my previous activation code. I ended up unsubscribing, hoping to stop the flood of emails, but I'm concerned about missing reminders for my legitimate subscription. I plan to switch to another product when my current subscription ends in 2027 due to the poor support.

The product itself has been reliable, offering solid antivirus protection and VPN for four years. However, I wanted to opt-out of auto-renewal due to price increases, and the process has been frustratingly difficult, bordering on deceptive. Finding the unsubscribe instructions requires logging into the website, and even then, I encountered errors preventing me from completing the process. After hours of effort, I finally reached a non-automated chat, but the representative requested extensive information before helping me. While the software is good, this experience has lowered my rating significantly, and I may look for alternative antivirus solutions.

Poor Upgrade Experience

The new ID Protection feature for password management is a significant downgrade from the previous version. Logging in has become nearly impossible, and it doesn't function well with popular browsers. I likely won't continue using this aspect of the service and may not renew my account next year.
