Review Time
We bought tickets to the WWE Monday Night Raw in Birmingham. We were going to buy the cheaper seats but we saw there was VIP ones going for £200+ and seeing as we were celebrating a birthday we thought why not.Got to the event to find out that AXS had completely messed up and wasn’t meant to sell them tickets as VIP so we arrived and didn’t receive any of the benefits and essentially had paid over £100 extra than what we were going to pay just for the seat. We can’t fault the staff at the arena as they were so helpful and were obviously shocked at the mistake AXS had made. I contacted customer service with my complaint and I was getting the same response of them & then didn’t hear anything for about two weeks, then to get a email saying ‘the price you paid was correct for the seat and offer your received’ first we didn’t receive any offer & secondly regardless if the price was correct it was not advertised as that on their website when we purchased the tickets Just be wary if you’re buying VIP tickets from this company as they may not actually have VIP tickets & they won’t admit that it was there mistake*update, since writing this review they’ve closed the case with no answer or admitting that they’ve made a massive mistake*
Update: axs' reply made it clear they don't read a word of reviews and simply paste the same response to everyone regardless of whether it's relevant; I'd already done everything supposedly required and was still denied, which I clearly stated in my initial review. I did eventually manage to get tickets (turns out they discriminate against Proton email addresses and won't allow anyone using one to purchase anything even when they're not using a VPN. No privacy at all permitted for axs customers apparently), but I never received any of the event information I was supposed to be sent despite requesting it twice in writing, making an experience meant to be enjoyable FAR more stressful than it needed to be. Would still recommend buying elsewhere if you're able to. Just wasted 2 hours of my life trying to buy 2 tickets for a gig, which used to be a straightforward experience. App is useless, website is useless, no support available at all. No contact information on the "contact us" page, no information on the "help and support" pages, the links they've posted lead to nothing. Both app and site took an age to connect at all and kept directing me to a "fair fan experience" page - how having one tab of their awful website open is "unfair" I have no idea. When I finally did get through to selecting tickets, the purchase wouldn't go through despite clearing all of the innumerable security barriers. Completed the many "verification" and "security" steps, tried 2 separate cards that work fine everywhere else, completed the banking passcode check, transactions approved from bank side but axs STILL insist there's a problem and decline the payment. By the time I've finished jumping through their endless hoops that apparently still are not good enough, the tickets have timed out and I have to start over. Pathetic.
