The personal attention is unbelievable

The personal attention is unbelievable. Literally, I was getting personal responses from the company to e-mailed questions about shipping delays. The product is incredibly well thought out... (a tripod that turns into a monopod that you can use 2 legs as hiking poles!) And the contruction quality is top-notch. Definitely the best company I've ever dealt with.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. They are not honest nor are they transparent. They won’t let you know if they are out of stock of their product until you place the order and then inquire about the delay. Then they won’t let you cancel. Read all of the one star reviews which tell of all of the bad shopping experiences. I just wished I had.

Very bad customer service and experience- cannot recommend Ulanzi- sadly

The whole experience with Ulanzi was terrible. I ordered a tripod which I almost immediately realized had the wrong ball head- their website is very confusing. Within 12 hrs I sent them an email asking to cancel the order and was told they were on holiday but if I need to cancel immediately, I could text them- which I did and got no response. 3 days later, they responded saying the tripod shipped and I would need to return it. However the cost of shipping it back seems to be my responsibility- beware it does not say that any where on the website. I was also offered discounts which they did not honor- they offered my $8 for this review, let’s see if I get it. I was also offered a free $50 gift, which I could have used- again they did not include it. Every correspondence is by email, and days go by without a response. I am a photographer, Ulanzi gets good reviews for their products. Sadly, dealing with the company is a disaster- at least this has been my experience. I did write them and explain all of this and asked for a pre-paid return shipping label- like you get from nearly every other online shop- UNLESS they specifically say return shipping is the buyers obligation. All they did was send me a reply, 3 days later, with the mailing address and instructions on what THEY need to initiate the return and refund. I just hope they honor the refund- at this point I am not sure.

Decent product, poor customer service

So I had been researching the F38 Quick Release (for camera), decided to pull the trigger by buying several units for myself and my professional photographer friends. The units shipped were the old Version 1 units even though I ordered the newer V2 model. Gifted them only to realize later the difference.I then wrote to Ulanzi's customer support to see if an exchange was possible - they asked for proof of purchase, pictures of packaging and the shebang, tried to say I ordered wrongly to no avail when I show them my receipt, backpaddled by offering me $10 coupon which I rejected citing I should be getting what I paid for.In the end, they've since ghosted me to avoid any responsibility. Hence, it'd say they make fairly decent products and its CS could surely use a few bump ups.

Something's gone wrong

I made another order months before from the german website and everything was perfect. Now they acted almost like scammers. I ordered a camera bagpack on 21st november 2024 in the european shop. They contacted me to inform me that the product was out of stock (no mention of this on the website at the time I placed the order) and that it will arrive at the end of the year.I decided to wait since I really like their products. In early january they told me it will arrive at the end of the month. around the 20th january I receive a package (with no shipping confirmation e-mail and no receipt in the box) with another cheaper smaller model of bagpack. I write them they made a mistake and they offer me to keep it and refund me 20 euros because the bagpack is now expected only in march. On their website they still have open orders for this bagpack stating it will arrive on the 28th of january!!Feeling mocked, I ask to return it since it's too small for me and they send me the address and no mention about the refund of the shipping costs or when the correct product I ordered will arrive in the warehouse!After this they where closed for vacation, I managed to sell the bagpack to a colleague and get the right one from Amazon at 60 Euros more. After my review they offered me to refund the shipping costs but still with no mention of a realistic shipping date.

NEVER ORDER FROM HERE

NEVER ORDER FROM HEREI placed my order over two months ago. Nov. 23rd….Once I noticed it wasn’t shipping I contacted them and they told me a few days after Christmas (Dec. 28th) so I said okay fine. Once it still didn’t ship I reached out multiple times and had to wait awhile for replies. They IGNORED my ask for a refund (I’ve asked for a refund 5 plus times now) and tried sending me the bag I no longer wanted anyway after dec. 28th. Now jan. 23rd I still have NOT received my order OR a refund. They told me to call USPS…I told them NO you call USPS and worry about getting your product back and just give me my refund! i am now waiting for an answer. I’ve decided when they answer I will be stating that I will report their warehouse in The USA to the better business bureau.

I have a package that has been missing…

I have a package that has been missing for a month. Customer service is not responding during the service hours indicated on the website. I have sent three emails requesting support and received only one response, which ignored my requests and simply stated that I needed to wait.EDIT: the package was sent back to the shop, customer service is on vacation and has left me with no news. Fantastic. Had to open an inquiry with paypal

They make great products for smartphones

I made a purchase in January but while waiting for delivery, I found what I was looking for somewhere else and cancelled my order with Ulanzi. It took a while to get a refund as they were on vacation but received it when they got back. I have since ordered 2 more items from them. The products they make are great for smartphones and other applications and I will be purchasing additional products from them in the future.
