Review Time
Purchased an Ulanzi CL02 , but turned out that the lens is not recognized by Sony Nex (C3) camera and unusable. Support was relatively quick to respond but sent old firmware veraion which did not help. So I am stuck with unusable lens. Might work on newer models but Nex 3 series + not.
I bought a D200 stream deck from them, and out of the box it didn’t work.I got this with the intentions of actually being able to use it, but that's not a thing...When I plug it in, it says "Ulanzi Starting Up", but will not do anything further on the screen.I had reached out, and they sent me a .bat file with zero instructions on what to do with it. On a Mac, have fun opening a batch file. So I thought maybe try my PC, and run the batch file from there. No dice.I had reached back out on both Facebook Messenger and email, but they have sent me the same file again after I told them that doesn’t work. It’s all copy and paste in their customer service, and they have no idea what they’re doing. Do yourself a favor and do not get anything from this company. It’s trash. They’re trash. Update:Having reached out several times without answers or a response, I finally found someone willing to replace my D200. It came, and this one worked out of the box.It upsets me that it took well over a month to get someone human to talk to me, but it worked out eventually. The customer service needs work. Bad. I am appreciative that they eventually fixed their mistake, so I did up the stars from 1 to 3.
I can’t use some payment option, and when I call them they are not responding but on email they will take days to reply. There was a day I received a message from them that they are busy. I mean because we want a responsive service when customers have a problem on orders. Hope it can improve, thank you.
I already bought a few things from Ulanzi and I'm quite satisfied with the quality of their products. Okay, it takes a few days to a small week for their stuff to reach me, but nothing too bad. With my last order I had a defective bracket included with the microphone. To my surprises it only took me one mail to get it replaced. So thumbs up as far as I am concerned. Four stars. Why not five? I'm kind of like a kid. I want my stuff yesterday! The replacement bracket took about 12 days to get delivered. ;-)
