The staff at The Unique Maps Co did a FANTASTIC job!! From my first email asking if they could accommodate all my requests to the final product. They listened and created a custom map with all the stops my friend recently took on a half loop of the waterways bringing his new boat from Cincinnati to Fort Myers. The final map is beautiful. My friend was so stunned at all the details they included!
I recently received my 1626 map of France by John Speede from The Unique Map Company, and I am delighted by the product and the service. The map is excellent quality--the colors are clear, the paper is sturdy, the lettering is easy to read and sharp.
I am very pleased with the service I received. My order arrived on time, and I have exchanged a couple of emails with the owner of the company. The prices are reasonable for high quality products. I will difinitely do business with this company again.
Do not place an order on this website; it feels like a scam. I kept seeing it advertised on social media, which made me skeptical before ordering. I didn’t spend much, but I never received the product I was half-expecting. Although I saw several positive reviews and the order confirmation email seemed genuine, I’m starting to realize that platforms for reviews can be misleading. They provided a tracking number, which makes me think they might just be purchasing postage labels from the postal service to appear credible, but aren’t actually fulfilling orders, possibly to evade legal issues. I will be reporting this to the authorities.
I placed an order for a map on December 7th but never received it. After struggling to communicate, I was informed the package was lost. They promised to send another one. I received a message inquiring about my enjoyment of the map that hadn't arrived. I had been regularly checking the tracking, which showed the shipment was expected but not yet processed. The same issue occurred with the first shipment that went missing. Since the second shipment was supposedly processed on the 25th, I expected it to be visible in tracking by now, but it wasn't. I requested an update but received no response, and as of December 30th, I still have no Christmas gift.
I ordered a map on December 1st, hoping it would arrive before Christmas. Although the map didn't arrive, the company offered a 'gift preview' to show the recipient what the gift was. I faced some challenges with this. After contacting the company via messaging, I received a quick reply. They arranged for the preview to arrive in time for Christmas. While I was disappointed that the actual gift didn't arrive on time, I was very impressed by the customer service. I would gladly recommend this company.
I ordered a map as a Christmas gift well within the promised timeframe, placing the order on the 16th with a stated delivery date of the 18th. Unfortunately, it still hasn't arrived, and the tracking shows a delay with no estimated delivery date. This is quite embarrassing, as it was meant to be a special gift, and I had a framing service scheduled. I've reached out for an update but have not received any response.
I placed an order on December 14, but despite multiple attempts to contact them via email and messaging, I have received no response. I haven't even received a confirmation email. This lack of communication is concerning for such a significant purchase. I understand it’s the holiday season, but they had stated that everything would be handled promptly. Now it's the 29th, and I still have nothing. I'm quite frustrated and unsure of how to proceed if I need a refund. Overall, I'm very disappointed.
I recently purchased a 'Topographic 3D Relief Map' from the company. The term '3D Relief map' is misleading as the item I received is a 2D print. A true 3D Relief map should have raised elements, but instead, I received a standard print. Although they do mention at the end of the description that it is a 2D map, the initial impression from the photos is very misleading. I ended up paying a high price for what is essentially a poster. I regret not reading the full description before ordering. It's disappointing and I feel the company could be clearer in their marketing.
