I've been trying to get a refund for a trip that was scheduled for April but Emirates cancelled the trip due to COVID-19. The resort we were set to go to was closed, the flights were cancelled, and yet I am still trying to fight with them. First they refused to give a refund, only a trip credit - NOPE. So we got trip insurance involved. Finally after investigating them and dealing with insurance they conceded and asked for 90 days to process a refund. Fine, at least now we're talking about a refund. They had until mid-September to get me that refund - NOTHING. No communication, no money, just silence. I reach out again. "Kindly know we're expediting your payment" - NO YOU'RE NOT! Another month plus has gone by and still no refund. The trip has been cancelled for 7 months now and they're just sitting on my hard earned money during a year when we can't afford to be out thousands of dollars. Absolutely horrible experience, please be aware of the risk you are taking when you give this company your money.
Wrong information, 1,5 month to get reply & no refund!We bought tickets onboard Emirates flight for a show in Dubai. A total of 300$.When we landed in Dubai we found out that the show was not running the 4 days that we were in Dubai.Ridiculous! Waited to 1,5 month to get a qucik reply from customer service that they will not refund.

We worked with Emirates Vacations to arrange our vacation in the Maldives. It was a trip of a lifetime. Emirates was patient and knowledgeable during the initial booking process, providing numerous quotations for the numerous alternatives we were investigating. We finally booked at one of their recommended resorts, which proved to be outstanding. All arrangements made by Emirates were executed without any glitches. Great vacation and great experience with Emirates.
Would give 0 stars if possible. I am so extremely disappointed. I received an e-mail from Emirates stating the THEY had cancelled my reservation. I immediately called the reservations department and they stated that they would NOT refund my money. I was welcome to rebook at a price almost 40% MORE than the original trip. I sent them a copy of THEIR Terms and Conditions that clearly state that if THEY are the ones who cancel the trip, I am entitled to a full refund. I also sent them the Department of Transportation rule stating that if THEY cancel the flight, they are responsible to provide a FULL refund of all monies paid. In any other arena, this would be considered theft. You pay for a service, they do not render the service, and they keep your money.
