Customer Service

I have made an appointment to get a quote for my place. They came to do the measurements and told me that I will receive my quote in the afternoon. That quote never came! and I have to call them to chase up for my own quote. After calling the salesperson and the company itself like 10 TIMES! I STILL DIDN'T GET THAT QUOTE! No one wanted to solve this issue and lack of empathy! all I can say is that TERRIBLE! TERRIBLE!

Great job

We are very happy with the motorised awnings that Blerim installed last Wednesday. When he came to do the accurate measurements he suggested a much better placement for the awning runners so we have more space on our roofed deck and it is visually better than what we were expecting. Thank you.

DO NOT ORDER Blinds

DO NOT ORDER Blinds, Shutters & Awnings from Victory Blinds, their customer service is absolutely pathetic & I cite examples below:1. Shutters badly made, some shutter panels do not line up with the corresponding shutters, having them re-made was difficult & made almost impossible.2.The awning delivered was a manual awning & not the awning we ordered with the consultant. We ordered a motorized awning with a remote control & a wind sensor. 3 weeks later Victory cannot confirm a delivery date for when they will fit & install the replacement awning.3, Despite my numerous phone calls & emails Victory have not had the courtesy of responding.4. Claudette one of their senior managers has not returned my calls or answered my emails even though Victory customer service have sent her requests to call me urgently..

Absolute disgraceful experience still ongoing

Absolute disgraceful experience so far. Still no curtains. We paid for curtains at the beginning of January. We didn't hear from them for ages so we rang them the middle of February, to be told our curtains had arrived weeks ago, but nobody ever called to book an install. So we booked an install date. They never turned up on the day, so we gave them a call to see where they were only to be told they had to change the install date but didn't tell us. Upon investigation someone at Victory had put our phone number in wrong in their system, even though my phone number is correct on the invoice (they tried to blame us for a changed phone number that we've had for over 20 years..)...So they booked in another date, to which now they have AGAIN delayed with the EXACT same excuse as last time. So here I am months later with no curtains and nearly $10k out of pocket that they have of my money. Dodgy company for sure. It seems I may even have to take legal action to get my money back maybe???Update: After some serious phone discussion about not accepting a further delay and a promise to ring their office every hour every day until a suitable resolution was found, Victory somehow managed to book the install back to the original date, and the curtains were installed today.Good on them for taking the right and appropriate action, however shouldn't have to come to this in the first place. The good bits: Joshua the salesman was fantastic and Mick installer was also top notch. Seems head office processes is where significant improvements need to be made,

Good Work Job well done

I had 3 companies lined up for quotes However I decided to go with Victory C& B as I was vey impressed with Mary Mc and her punctuality, knowledge and professional advice when she came to measure and quote I am very pleased with the productFurther, more, Justin installed the blinds without any fuss and left the place clean and tidy and ensured I was happy with his workHe took time to explain the remote control systemOverall I am delighted with thr product and the staff I had contact with Only constructive. comment is that the warranty/ guarantee document should be handed to the client at the time of installation or emailed to the client. Not expect the client to source it themselves

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Terrible experience! Rip off and take advantage of the elderly. My family was unfortunately recommended this business by an insurance company but what a joke! Have taken our money and after 11 months we still have no curtains, but we did get some runner rails that weren’t needed. Thank you for this incredible level of customer service Edwina.

Exceptional service

Mick and Brandon, thank you both so much for using your weekend to install our curtains. They are top quality. We bought curtains/blinds/shutters for our two storey house and we can’t fault Victory. Prompt quote (thanks Craig, you are so good at what you do), quick and accurate final measure and seamless installs all round. Next house, we know who to call. Thanks team!!

Installation guy turned up with no installation/fit out guide

This was the second attempt from Victory Blinds to install my curtains. The first time the installation man turned up, the curtain rods were not the correct colour. Had to be reordered. The second attempt to install my curtains, the installation guy turned up but was not given the installation/fit out instruction sheet. I suggested he ring the office and have it emailed to me so I could print it, but no one answered the phone. He was unable to reach his manager either after several attempts and this was at 2.15 pm on a Friday afternoon. This company seriously needs to set up a checklist for the installation guys when curtains are picked up for installation. After receiving a message to make another appt, I contacted the office today to organise installation after 4.00 pm as I already had stayed at home two days to have them fitted and was not prepared to take another day off. Victory Blinds were unable to assist with allocation of a time to suit me. Very disappointed, considering I am the one that has been inconvenienced twice already. If the curtains cannot be installed after 4.00 on a weekday or on a Saturday can I please request a full refund. I was asked to pay for the balance in December prior to installation and they still have not been installed. They are lying on my dining room floor.Any one considering ordering blinds through this company, should not be asked to pay the balance of their order until installation has occurred as the chances are they are likely to be very disappointed.Margaret S

Blockout blinds total waste of money

Recently moved back to Brisbane and needed blinds to block the harsh morning sun that wakes my kids at 5am. Had a consult and purchased “blockout” fabric roller blinds that promise excellent light control. What a joke. The $70 stick on window covering I was using in the interim works better to block light that these so called blockout custom fitted blinds. Total waste of money. The guy who fitted them, Mick, was fantastic, can’t fault his work, just the product that doesn’t live up to its promise. Furthermore, the call center based in Victoria has no idea what it’s tradies are doing. They called me on the day of installation to say it wouldn’t go ahead and could we reschedule for 2 days time. 20 mins later the tradie called to say he was on his way to do it. Call center called me back that afternoon to reschedule and had no idea my product had been installed. Terrible communication!

Loving my Aluminium Shutters however...

Loving my new Aluminum shutters that have been FINALLY installed on my verandah. Great quality etc., however, NOT HAPPY that my order wasn’t completed when they were first installed August 2023. There was a solid fitted shutters and a shuttered door with a lock, MISSING. I contacted Victory Curtains and Blinds, to find out why they weren’t here with the rest of the shutters and when would the missing panel and door be installed? No answer in to why that part of the order wasn’t here but was given a date 11th Sept 2023 for the installation of them. Scott, the tech guy arrived and couldn't fit them as the metal floor plate wasn’t big enough. Scott packed the door and panel back into the van as he couldn’t complete the job without this floor plate. I never received a phone call with apology so I rang your company AGAIN, two days later! I got a total run around, mind you, got cut off a couple of times while waiting to speak to different people. Irang Victory Curtains and blinds, on numerous times with no outcome at all. I rang again on, 25th Oct 2023, and STILL waiting for a call back. Frustrated? you could say that, getting angry? yeah well, I suppose you could say I was and still am. I informed the person I spoke to that if I didn't hear back from someone by 3pm ( my time in Qld which makes it 2pm down south) Fair Trading will be contacted, so at 2.15pm, still no phone call. At 2.30pm, I contacted Fair Trading. Filled out the form online and received a phone call within an hour from Fair Trading. It was now in their hands to get this problem sorted. Considering i had to pay half for these aluminum shutters, $11,143.50 on 20 Jul 2023 at 12:59pm, before the order would be accepted, and had to pay the balance of, $11,143.50, BEFORE they would be fitted. So as you can see, it was a massive order, I think I had every right to be upset. I had an argument with a guy called Chris about having to pay it all upfront BEFORE order could be fitted. I wasn’t informed of this when I placed the order. I could understand paying half with the conformation of the order, but when I was informed that the total of what was left to pay, HAD to paid UPFRONT, BEFORE they would install them. What could I do, I had already paid half the amount already. We had an ugly tarp over the opening while we were waiting for the door and to be installed, as when we get storms, this is the direction that the rains come. Subsequently, the majority of this end of the verandah gets wet. Fair Trading got involved, it was my last resort. Thankfully, they got things moving and the missing parts was completed on 11th December, 2023. Many thanks and appreciation goes to the tech guy, Scott, who was courteous, friendly and understood my frustrations. I highly recommend Scott for any work he is given to do. There is NO WAY I would recommend Victory Curtains and Blinds to ANYONE, after what I have gone through! After given the many run around and stress that this company gave me. Still no apology from them for their incompetency.
