-Vita Student St Albans-I’ve had so many positive experiences in Vita Student. The building and facilities are top notch, the staff is friendly and the events are always so fun! I got to meet so many good people here and make amazing memories. I 100% recommend staying here!
Genuinely spending my final year of uni with vita was the best decision and would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking about staying in vita st albarns! Staff members like Will, Lauren, Angela, and Jessi made living here absolutely memorable!! The weekly events and breakfast makes it worth the money your are spending.
Absurd cancellation policy and unjustified, unethical room renewal contracts.Vita requires full payment on booking regardless of when the booking is made with the only option to cancel being you finding a replacement tenant to supposedly take over the liability. In addition, despite their policy unequivocally states that full refunds will be provided should the tenants fail to confirm their offers at the university for which the rooms were booked, there have been numerous cases where this has been proven otherwise.The overall experience with Vita can only be described as ‘doggy’. I would recommend anyone who’s looking for a uni accommodation steer clear of it.
ABSOLUTE RIDICULOUSNESS! Unreasonable, Ridiculous, Unacceptable policy that reeks of pure greed! How on earth can you demand a whopping full payment of ~£13500 for an entire year, even if we had the decency to cancel our accommodation booking a solid 2 months before the semester kicked off? It's downright outrageous!And don't get me started on the audacity of asking us to hunt down another student to play substitute! As if we're your recruitment agency! Never mind the fact that we were told there'd be a mythical "long waiting list." Well, newsflash – there should be an army of students eager to snatch up a substitute spot for the room!We are NOT, I repeat, NOT here to bolster your profit margins. The nerve of making the £600 deposit non-refundable at the time of booking is bad enough, but the real kicker is the lack of proper information about this utterly unacceptable and unreasonable policy! We were coerced into shelling out the deposit without a shred of a comprehensive explanation on this blatant rip-off right from the get-go.Dear fellow students, I implore you – steer clear of this accommodation nightmare. It's nothing short of a trap set by profit-hungry vultures masquerading as a housing provider. You deserve better – don't let these swindlers take advantage of your hard-earned money and well-being.
Poor company to work for. Mismanaged and my own manager was often rude to contractors, students or staff. Other times just didn’t speak to you throughout a whole shift. Boring, unchallenged but a tough environment to enjoy or work in for all the wrong reasons. Further to that you get little training, when you ask for help or training there’s usually a PowerPoint or told to teams someone else. Which is why I found the company is obsessed with teams meetings! I sat in a few and they’re utterly ridiculous and a time waste. Little regard for students or staff well being, but encourage alcohol consumption then struggle to deal with actual complaints from other students.
