"I absolutely love my Vlook glasses! The quality is excellent—well-made and durable without feeling heavy. The fit is perfect, and they’re super lightweight, making them comfortable to wear all day. Plus, they are so stylish! I’ve gotten tons of compliments on them. The price point is also very affordable, which makes them even better. What really impressed me was the customer service. Before filling my order, they reached out to confirm my prescription to ensure accuracy—such a thoughtful touch! I highly recommend Vlook for anyone looking for fashionable, high-quality eyewear at a great price."
In November 2024, I placed my first order with Vlook, purchasing four pairs of glasses across two separate orders. Initially, I was impressed when the glasses arrived earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The frames were sturdy, stylish, and appeared to be well-made. Three out of the four pairs were perfect—I could see through them clearly, and they met my expectations. However, the fourth pair was unusable; the left lens was improperly magnified, making it impossible for me to see through without experiencing significant discomfort. It was immediately apparent that this pair had not undergone proper quality control before being sent to me.I reached out to Vlook's customer service, hoping for a straightforward resolution. I wasn't seeking a refund or a return; I simply wanted the defective lens corrected so I could enjoy the glasses. Unfortunately, this is where my experience took a turn for the worse. My communication with their customer service was frustratingly inefficient and unproductive. I had to send multiple emails explaining that one of the four pairs of glasses I received was defective before they finally provided the return instructions. They even asked me to take a picture wearing the defective glasses, which I found unreasonable since I couldn’t see out of them and wearing them caused a headache. I reiterated that I just wanted to return the glasses for correction, but the process was unnecessarily drawn out. When they finally provided the return address, I was disappointed to find that they did not include a prepaid return shipping label. This was frustrating, as I had already paid for shipping when I initially ordered the glasses. Now, I was being asked to cover the cost of shipping again to send back a product that was defective through no fault of my own. Despite my frustrations, I decided to pay for the return shipping and sent the glasses back, along with the tracking information and a receipt for the shipping cost.I requested reimbursement for the return shipping fee, as I felt it was their responsibility to cover the cost of correcting a mistake they had made. However, I was met with more back-and-forth emails from customer service, who insisted that they only provide return labels for "manufacturing imperfections" or "productive defects." I fail to see how sending me glasses with a mismatched lens prescription doesn’t qualify as a manufacturing defect.Despite multiple attempts to explain this, my request for a shipping refund was denied. I find it unacceptable that I am expected to bear the cost of their error. If Vlook made a mistake during production, it should be their responsibility to fix it at no additional cost to the customer. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and the lack of accountability from Vlook has ensured that I will not be ordering from them again. Their customer service process is inefficient, and their policies leave customers like me unfairly burdened with costs that should not be ours to bear. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
The worst customer service I have ever seen. I placed an order about a month ago and I have written to them more than 10 times asking about the order and they always tell me that they will ship it in two days. We have been in the two days since December 29. I'm afraid they are half a scam.
I have been a loyal Vlookoptical customer for several years, but my recent experience has been absolutely disappointing. On October 11, 2024 until current date December 27, 2024, I requested a warranty replacement for my glasses (Erika frame in brown, 1.61 Photochromic lenses with a yellow tint). According to Vlookoptical advertised warranty, they cover manufacturer defects frames, lense for 12 months.Since filing my request, I’ve emailed CustomerServiceVlookOpticalcom 35 times and have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution. Despite their warranty policy, they’re refusing to replace my lenses without charging me, which is unacceptable and a clear case of false advertising. To make matters worse, Vlookoptical does not have a hassle-free warranty replacement program. The process has been unnecessarily complicated, frustrating, and time-consuming. As someone with astigmatism in both eyes and restricted vision, these glasses are essential to my daily life. I expected better service from a company I’ve trusted for years.Vlookoptical’s actions feel not only unethical but also potentially illegal. Consumers should not have to fight this hard to have warranties honored. If you're considering Vlookoptical, beware of their deceptive warranty practices. I am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regarding this false advertisement and hope others won’t have to go through this frustrating experience.Erika Frame Frame Color: BrownFrame Price: $19.89Prescription LensesLens Name: 1.61 PhotochromicLens Price: $119.85Order Number: 20240127204536004995
The only thing they got going for them is the great prices but unfortunately the trade-off with the low prices is that the glasses don't get even packed in the included microfiber baggy they give you in the box. Not even a hard case. I ordered a BOGO offer on the website, website by the way looks like it never got remade since 2005, and both glasses came bent from the production factory as the poly mailer or the boxes holding the glasses didn't get damaged. This is after the glasses came late to my house by 5 days according to their delivery date that never changed on their website since my order. Their "solution" to the bent frames? Bend the glasses yourself and we aren't going to help you. It took multiple emails to convince them to send me a return label and even then I had to pester them about HOW to do the return after getting the label. They clearly don't have professional employees and email is the only way of starting a return and any support you may need. I would have been fine with no phone support if my glasses weren't bent and the prescription wrong on one pair but to not have a return system on their website that a customer can use? That's awful for 2015 standards let alone 2024.Unless you have a need for a cheap BOGO offer with some features like 3rd party photochromatic coatings for $60 I'd stay away. Other places like Zenni or Firmoo can get you started at $7 for base frames and lenses with anti-scratch & UV resistant coating and with quality control. Often they have free shipping offers at certain price points based on the cart total. Vlook in comparison has a very small selection, about as much as you'd see in your doctor's eyeglass store but so little of them feature adjustable nose pads. I got a very thin nose bridge so 95% of their collection would slide off me. Plus I couldn't find any free shipping offers that I could find.As of today my two pairs are going back as they came with twisted frames. It's a shame because the frames looked good in the pictures with only the Ava model feeling like a quality pair if it wasn't bent already. The Dave model I ordered felt like it was made out of tin and wouldn't grip my face because of its lack of structure despite being the right size for me
I've purchased multiple glasses from this optical company and been very satisfied. However, the prescription in my most recent purchase is incorrect, and the glasses cause double vision. Although I've contacted them through email, Vlook refuses to do anything to correct its error.
I own about 8 pairs of glasses that I purchased from vlookoptical.com. Recently I order replacement sets for Elise model glasses because the handle broke as well as the Paddy frames. I swoped out the Paddy lenses, with no issue. The Elise lenses don't fit the frames. The company acknowledged that the Elise glasses lenses are a little bit bigger than the old frames. They want me to pay half for the new lenses. I not going to because the lenses not fitting isn't my fault. They should replace them without charge, not only because it's the right thing to do. But I bought 8 pairs over the last 3 years.
