I have been at voyage for 5 weeks as a new service manager and I can honestly say that I have had a very positive experience. There is a lot of support from all areas of the business and I find the culture to be supportive and friendly.Everyone I have spoken to seems very happy in there job roles and many people have been there for 10 years or more.I find the company to be very professional and helpful with a no blame culture and lots of offers to help and support one another. My operations manager has been very supportive and adapts well to my learning style she has a wealth of knowledge and wants team success.Very good company
It's been a year now since I was asked to leave the Willows supported living placement in Hythe. At times over the last year I have been made to feel like a prisoner in my own home. Every time, even to this day I have to be on guard as the staff were told to tell me that if they spoke to me they would lose their job. Even after one year I have become more damaged, felt worthless and at times suicidal. This has been the worst year of not only my life but the life of my parents. This experience will never leave me because of the most inhumane I have been treated by Voyage Care. Don't believe in what it says on their website. It's all lies.My relationship with Voyage Care is not over. I will not allow them to treat me or any other human being in the way I have been treated. They are supposed to be a care company. They are the complete opposite. I would give no stars if that was possible. An awful, shameful company which should be shut down. MY NAME IS PAULA BOTTONE AND NOT PATRICIA BOTTONE AND I HAVE ASKED FOR THIS TO BE AMMENDED. PLEASE DO IT!
Why can you not give a 0*? They have a home next door to me. The noise since they took over from the council operators is terrible. Staff are ignorant, on their phones down the garden, and as for the management - well they just do not have a clue - to the point that they ask me for advice! AVOID!
I don't know about other voyage care homes, but you see the one at fetcham, Cobham road in leather head is a complete write off.How do you employ a manager that doesn't understand what it means to lead.she never makes any meaningful decisions that will move the company forward.only takes hasty decisions on the spur of the moment without any thoughts.the place has witnessed a serious decline since she came two months ago.The environment is toxic, and has become a scary place.Such a shame.i don't recommend this home to any one looking for job,cos it's been hijacked by some toxic lady in collaboration with the childish manager onboard.
Terrible company to work for! No support from management at all. They had their favourite staff members and were two faced about the rest. Shifts were changed at the last minute including having to do an over night shift after a 14 hour day. The over night room didn’t have a lockable door. I had to take a door wedge after one of the Service Users got into the room at night. Paperwork raised after behaviours/ incidents was routinely lost. After working yet another Bank Holiday, I was told that I didn’t work here anymore. Apparently one of the senior support workers didn’t like me .
Let me tell you something,,, do not work with them... They're picks!!!!.I signed a 16 hr contract due to study.Never stopped for one minute. My probation was extended for no good reason.. Two managers hid away in their office... The place is called Hall o shaw... Terrible experience.... And by the way,,, my resume was an still is a dam sight betters then their.I built great relationships with the service users.... They obviously didn't like it..... A holes all the way.... Hope they get to read this as they know who they are..... Finally, they're not the only game sin town.
Worked here for 1 year before leaving in February and let me tell you, the management are disgusting bullies who does not deserve their jobs. When you come in for your induction you’ll be pleased to see how well everyone works together. Deputy manager was always saying “ we’re one big family “ but that’s a major red flag. The longer you work there you’ll realise how horrible and nasty the management can get. And if you do one minor error, be prepared to get bullied until you leave. They despise staff that have a voice and can stand up for themselves. If you prioritise your mental health do not work for Dudley street voyage care.
Worst place anyone could ever live in the Parade at yeadon staff try too constantly control you and stop you from having access too your own money constantly try threatening you and bullying you and thinking there gods gift too everyone absolute joke of a place wouldn’t recommend anyone live there at all
