Review Time
I didn't read the reviews before I used the machines so you may say I was just lucky but I have no complaints at all. I washed and dried a cream coloured Dorma bedspread which was really well spun and not creased. Gave it 30 minutes on the lowest drying heat and it was nice and dry for airing. All in all it was a great experience!
First of all it's not the cheapest (but It was supposed to be a 1 off for me so 🤷) however after using it once I put a second wash in and it wouldn't accept payment. I tried 3 cards (and yes they all had money in ) so then i message the whatsapp help number (dont k ow why they called it that coz i got no response) so then you have to unload the washer to go elsewhere..... plus this is a new wash just installed....good job 😠 😡
I visited a campsite where the self service laundrette was located at the entrance. I thought I’d give it a try! I had a small issue but have been faced with absolutely fantastic customer service to rectify it. Would use again and can recommend.
Really bad experience. Payed 11£ and the machine had an error after around 10 minutes. Everything soaking wet, so we had to pay another 11£ to wash it in the next machine. It was 16:45 and the 24/7 customer service couldn’t be reached per telephone. Finally we reached someone over WhatsApp. But we were informed that we cannot get any refund if we don’t have a UK bank account, which we don’t because we’re on holiday. Reached out again and again with different suggestions (maybe a voucher etc.) but no help was offered. We payed with credit card and I am stunned that it is allowed to not be able to get a refund via the same paying method we used to pay for the service in the first place. Wouldn’t recommend!
Used the 20kg machine for a double duvet. It came out looking like new. £11 well spent. Now drying nicely in the sun. Would definitely use again. I was thinking of getting a new one as it's too big to wash at home, saved it going to landfill.
I decided to use for first time a WashMe machine that is close by property. Having followed all the instructions and paid for the wash I awaited my wash complete message. When it arrived I went to retrieve my wash. The door would not open and the screen (which is not anti glare and impossible to read in sunlight) had an error message of sorts on it.Because this was after 17.00 I could not speak to customer services.Upon my return to the machine from my home the door did open.But when I took the clothing out they were covered in a powder residue and absolutely soaking wet and most definitely a wash was not performed. So much water was still present it was difficult to carry to the house.I am looking forward to tomorrow when I will demand a full refund for what was nothing more than a waste of my time and energy.
Don't bother using the dry cycle at Denton manchester. 15 minute cycle on very hot and it was still wet. Put another 15 minute cycle on and they was damp. Use other Laundrettes before using these that are located in morrisons. Yes easy access and open all hours but these do not dry your clothing. I will return back to other Laundrettes than using these ever again.
