Zero points. The one star was the lowest ranking available. In a nutshell as leaseholder you are held over a barrel. The customer service people are friendly but not helpful. Basically an out of office with the words: we are sorry for the delay unfortunately your issue remains unresolved’ wld be more productive and cheaper to us the tax payer or service charge payer. I have gone thru various complaint procedures with them, being awarded with various compensation amounts, always peanuts but they confirm they have not ‘lived up to standards’ probably understatement of the year. Having been a ‘customer’ for over 15 years - it’s a generally accepted concept that they are useless. But for structural and political reasons they remain there.Get rid of the lot, aka city west homes. Unfortunately I don’t see this happening if labour get in late 2024, but maybe another disaster might prompt a revamp of this shambolic organisation.
As of tow years ago a member of everyone active sports how works for westminster council as I was told to go back to Ireland and spat at and Westminster Council says that's OK you are still not going to aer sports Jim's as they find everyone active is write and for manager Mrs Brown you think she would be professional as Westminster manager and sort this
Westminster have a policy not to communicate in writing with tenants/residents which I found when addressing a letter to a council member which took six months for a reply and that was through a third party. However I am still awaiting a reply to a letter again sent to a councillor concerning tenants "repair charter" which they promised to implement in their "Fairer Westminster" charter which is just window dressing. Council tenants are seen as an irritant to WCC and they don't care as long as their staff have a "woke" life balance and stress free job - council tenants are bottom the list.
I am writing this review to share my deeply frustrating and disheartening experience with Westminster City Council regarding my homeless application. It is with great disappointment that I must address the unacceptable treatment I have endured throughout this process, which has left me feeling marginalized and unsupported.First and foremost, it is crucial to highlight the issue of racism that I encountered during my interactions with Westminster City Council. The manner in which my application was handled demonstrated clear instances of racial bias, which should not be tolerated within any public organization. It is disheartening to witness such discriminatory practices persist within our society, particularly in an institution that should be committed to equality and fairness. In addition to the racial discrimination I faced, I must emphasize the council's lack of consideration for my mental health. As someone who has been grappling with mental health challenges, I expected to receive the appropriate level of understanding and support from Westminster City Council. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Their inconsiderate approach towards my mental well-being only exacerbated the difficulties I was already facing. Moreover, the council's failure to respond in a timely manner further compounded my frustrations. It took an astounding nine months for them to assess the medical form that I had submitted back in December 2022. Such a lengthy delay not only hindered my ability to secure suitable housing but also demonstrated a blatant disregard for the urgency of my situation. This lack of efficiency and accountability reflects poorly on Westminster City Council's commitment to serving the needs of its residents.Furthermore, I provided comprehensive evidence from both my psychologist and GP to support my case, only to have it disregarded during the assessment process. This blatant oversight raises serious concerns about the council's commitment to impartiality and fair decision-making. By dismissing crucial evidence, Westminster City Council has failed to fulfill its responsibilities and has perpetuated a system that is inherently unjust. It is disheartening and deeply frustrating to witness a public organization, such as Westminster City Council, treat individuals in such a deplorable manner. The experiences I have shared today highlight the urgent need for reform and accountability within the council's practices. It is my hope that by shedding light on these issues, we can inspire change and ensure that no one else has to endure similar treatment.I urge the council to reflect upon its actions, acknowledge the areas where it has fallen short, and take immediate steps to rectify the injustices I have experienced. I implore community members, advocates, and public officials to join me in demanding transparency, fairness, and equality from Westminster City Council.Together, we can foster a society that is inclusive, compassionate, and supportive of all its members.
The Westminster Parking website is shockingly bad. It has been "upgraded" this year and now, when purchasing trade permits, you have to first buy an evoucher and then claim said voucher from your account. The first time this happened I had no idea and thought I'd paid for the parking but turns out I had only bought a voucher and because it hadn't been allocated we got a parking ticket. So in other words, I paid for parking but still got fined. How is that ok? I appealed as this was a genuine mistake and you could clearly see the voucher on our account but no joy. We have to pay the fine - £65 if paid now £130 if we leave it. Honestly, I think they make this as difficult as possible just so that customers make mistakes and they can generate more income. By the way the one star is for the customer support team who also think the website is rubbish and are incredibly helpful and patient.
Got a PCN for stopping in a box junction. Tail end of car was just in the box and i was gutted that a minor infringement resulted in a Charge. Looks like an easy mistake. I then realised I have never driven in Westminster so This wasn't me. The picture displays a black ford van, I have a white car. The letter emplores me to challenge by completing the form and mailing to them, no envelop, no stamp so it is up to me foot the bill. Also the fee won't be £65 and could increase to £195 if not settled within 21 days. The OCR failed and there is no failsafes to stop threatening letters being sent out to innocent drivers. They provide no easy, convenient, fair route for people to contend the PCN. If you have the temerity to challenge they could charge you triple.Checked the website and I could challenge misread number plate in the end. Charges they apply are grossly inappropriate and the nature of double or tripling fine is unfair. Operating similar to mafia or loan sharks.Address the OCR! I cannot imagine reading a y as a v is an isolated incident.
