If I could give 0 stars, I would. Simply put, do not waste your money or your time. It is cheaper to just buy a new dishwasher.
Surely being Whirlpool and a Whirlpool appliance, this would go smoothly.... Not even a little.
First: The warranty is over 400 $. You do have to pay for the entire cost of the warranty plan if you cancel at anytime AND it does not matter if you never use it.
Second: Turn-around time. Horrible. Awful, Shameful.
I have ATTEMPTED to use the warranty in the past. Each time (twice about the same issue) they contracted worker did not show up, did not answer calls. When called in I was told that the work order was closed, would need to be reapplied, and there is no guarantee that the original contracted company would be selected. When I requested a different company, surprise, surprise, it was the same, with the same issue. I ended up calling a plumber myself and having the dishwasher fixed out of pocket, which the warranty company refused to reimburse despite proof of invoice and several calls complaining about their contractor's no-show. (No reimbursement or discount applied).
So who fixed the appliance? They have contracted third-party bids with "local" companies, and whoever picks the bid is the one who will contact you. I ended up using a third-party locally owned company instead who fixed the problem.
They absolutely did not care about customer satisfaction. If you are in warranty for their extended plan, just take 400, light it on fire, and break your appliance on top of that. You will have the same result.
The service process is extremely frustrating. After a decision is made, it takes 7-10 business days for one department to communicate with another. A service request was submitted a month ago, and I had to continually push for updates and escalate the issue without any response. When they finally sent someone to assess the situation, I was informed that they had closed for the holiday season, causing the delay. It has been a week since that visit; the representative immediately emailed them stating that the machine was irreparable and a replacement was necessary. I received confirmation of a replacement, but the next day I was informed that I would instead receive a store credit, which was communicated on Monday. To replace the machine will cost an additional $250 beyond my original payment, and I've already spent $120 on laundromat services. I strongly advise against purchasing from this brand; their service process is discouraging and shows a lack of concern for customers.

This refrigerator is only 18 months old and has developed a computer issue and cooling box problem. It's now out of warranty, and the repair cost is $990, with no assistance from the company. Their only offer is a 20% discount on a new unit. I will never consider this brand again, and I've shared my experience with friends and family. I’m also posting this everywhere. Avoid this brand... there are better options out there.

I actually liked my dishwasher until I was convinced to enroll in a repair program instead of just replacing it. A BIG MISTAKE. The contract is sold to a third party, which has subcontracted the repairs. For the last 6 months, neither provider has been able to fix the leaks, which have damaged my floor. I’ve taken 9 days off work for this. They cancel last minute, and under no circumstances should you buy an extended plan. They claim if they can't fix it, you'll get a replacement, but that's a lie. I've recorded evidence of water leaking right after their visits. The communication is poor, and despite my numerous calls, no one has followed up with me. I’m switching to a different brand.
My washing machine frequently displays error messages and beeps if you walk past it. It always has a musty smell, despite regular cleaning. The most significant issue is that it exploded this weekend. I couldn't open it, and the top is now cracked, with the digital panel detached from the bottom. An engineer came today and noted it was a significant explosion. The drum was half missing, and the casing was shattered. Thankfully, there was no flood or fire.
I purchased a washing machine that has skipped the rinse cycle and stopped. I've had repairmen out five times, and they’ve replaced circuit boards and switches, yet the issue persists. The circuit boards have faulty chips, making it impossible to fix. Fortunately, switching to the two rinse setting works. Avoid these machines; they will never function correctly.
Extremely unprofessional. Don’t call for repairs or depend on their service. I scheduled an urgent repair for my washing machine, but they sent an engineer two and a half hours late without notice. He claimed he couldn't find parking and left without a word. I'm still left with a broken machine after more than a week. Their customer service is inefficient, and I had a horrible experience.
