AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Of course the sales experience will be good, they are selling you a car worth thousands of pounds so please ignore reviews about a good sales experience. The true test is when something goes wrong. I am appalled at the lack of customer service and willingness to get things sorted. The back electric windows didn't work from the start and I pointed this out. I was told someone would call me to book in the repair but of course nobody called. The touch screen then stopped working soon after. I rely heavily on my car for work so I decided to wait for the service and MOT to come round confident Wilson's would ensure the back windows and touch screen would be fixed whilst the car was with them as it is under warranty. The service team told me the warranty people would need to come and inspect the car themselves due to the huge cost of installing a new touch screen unit. I have chased and emailed customer service but a month later I have still not heard a thing. The car also failed the MOT with all 4 tyres needing replacing which has never happened to me before (I am not doing any more miles than I was in previous years). I trusted Wilsons would sell me a car in impeccable condition which they haven't and what is worse is that once you drive the car away they have abolsutely no interest in providing after care or support. Of course Wilsons will respond to this post to say they are very sorry and that someone will call me but I already know that they won't and that they aren't interested in ensuring I am a satisfied customer. I am a local and so when a colleague asked about my experience at Wilsons for buying a new car, I have of course told her to steer well clear.
I am writing to express my concern regarding the status of my repair claim, which has been pending almost 3 weeks without any response.I have bough my car four years ago in Wilsons and have consistently maintained it with annual check-ups at Wilsons Espom also. During my most recent visit on September 1st, your technician identified a critical issue that requires the timing chain to be replaced.As my vehicle is covered under the Platinum Maintenance Care plan , your staff assisted me in submitting a claim for the maintenance fee. However, I got the feedback is still waiting for approval the claim until this week.Today I asked LWG Motor Claim direct and they told me that they actually are waiting for my car service history and demonstration video for proceeding the claim. Now I don't know what going wrong and how long I still need to wait, and seems no one is handling my case.
Had a great experience, especially with the workshop and the manager there (thank you!), with Wilson's Epsom. Went here after our local dealership stopped dealing with MG aftersales.Slightly disappointing that after my service was complete, I emailed and had a conversation about coming in to replace a cosmetic part on my car (offering to pay for this service), and then never got a reply after saying they'd back to me - so ended up going elsewhere for this, but that was the only blip in an otherwise good experience.
