Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt withWM raises the fees every quarter, and not by a little. Average increase was 15-20%, per quarter. After finally cancelling my service, they said they would charge me $100 to pick up 2 bins that we'd had for over 12 years, and that were supplied by a different service provider.They sent one email about 2 moths later with an invoice attached, and it already included a 13% late fee.WM not only provide lousy waste service (missed pickups, high prices, limited recycling), but their accounting and billing practices are borderline predatory.My advice to you - stay far, far away from this miserable company.

Poor pickup/ no pickup

Poor pickup/ no pickup. Only took 1/2 of the bin. Left the heavier items which were on bottom. The customer service AI doesn’t understand anything said. Shuts down in mid question. After repeatedly hitting zero was connected to a real person. “They’ll try to get it today, but may be Monday. Raised our prices without notice, but the same poor service.

I was with Waste Managed in 2024 and I can honestly say it was nothing but problems from the very start. From day one, there were errors, miscommunication, and a complete lack of professionalism. Their customer service staff are not just unhelpful, but downright rude, dismissive, and incapable of taking responsibility for their constant mistakes. Every conversation felt like going in circles, and I was always the one having to chase for answers that should have been provided upfront.Even the most basic service — bin collections — was handled poorly. Despite clear instructions and confirmations, they still managed to get it wrong, leaving my business in an unacceptable position. When you’re running a business, you need reliability and support, not endless excuses and careless service.The entire experience caused me unnecessary stress, financial loss, and wasted time. Waste Managed simply do not care about their customers. They say one thing and do another, and there is no accountability when their actions cause damage.If you value your business and your sanity, steer well clear of Waste Managed. There are plenty of companies out there who can provide waste services without making life miserable — this is not one of them.

Awful my bins never get collected

Awful my bins never get collected . Pay £120 a month for a service that never gets done. Having to chase weekly I asked them if I can come out of contract because I am paying for a service that is not happening want to charge a huge fee!!!

WM is a joke full of joke people

This company is a joke. Despite being a long-time customer, we cannot get them even to tell the truth. They rescheduled our trash pick up without prior notification, a situation made worse by a holiday weekend the following week. After multiple phone calls and three separate assurances that a ticket had been created and the trash would be picked up by the end of the day, WM was a no-show every. single. time. It has been OVER TWO WEEKS since our last pick up. We will be finding a new company to work with and we will not miss their reckless driving. Good riddance.

DONT SIGN UP WITH WM

Waste management is a joke , the last 2 months they have not picked up my trash , I cant get a hold of anyone but the money was just paid on Autopay THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER!!! They don't know what customer service means. Our driver is a jerk they leave cans in my neighborhood in the middle of the street, on their side or in front of driveways they don't answer calls and if your lid is even open an inch or 2.8 ft near a car instead of 3 they won't pick up. They are not willing to work with the customer THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.

Waste Management is nothing short of a predatory, parasitic scam operation. The moment you sign their contract, you’re trapped. They will let your bins rot, turning your workplace into a stench-filled pest-infested dump, while still stealing money from your account every single month.Trying to leave them is impossible — they’ll lock you in with fine print and threats, forcing you to pay for private collections on top of their extortionate charges.Their customer service is a complete joke: arrogant, manipulative, and deliberately trained to wear you down until you give up. They don’t solve problems; they exist only to squeeze more money out of you.This company is a leech that feeds on businesses, leaving you stressed, exhausted, and broke. If you value your sanity and your business, stay far, far away from Waste Management.

Worst company ever

- bin delivery scheduled for 13rd August but no bin has been delivered. - rescheduled for 25th but still no bin delivered. - scheduled for a free 15 bags collection but no collection happening. - i asked for cancel as in 14 days of cool down as standard but got replied they don’t offer cool down. This is so bad

Quite literally the worst service we've…

Quite literally the worst service we've ever received. We've spent two months trying to sort out bin delivery and collection dates appropriate for our restaurant service. Their avenue for addressing these complaints is through their own web portal that doesn't load over 50 percent of the time. When a complaint or a missed collection is filed through their web portal when the god forsaken app does actually work, no one responds. When we finally got through on the phone to find out when our bins would be collected (scheduled for Thursday, having received conflicting email confirmations detailing collections for Thursdays only and Fridays only) the employee on the phone couldn't locate our account despite giving them our account number, business name, postcode, and address. (Spoiler alert, no employee seemed to be able to find our account despite having signed up two months ago). When we finally got to the bottom of why they could never find our account, the employee on the phone told me that our collection was scheduled for a Wednesday, and not a Thursday or a Friday as previously confirmed, and hence why no one was collecting our bins on Thursdays or Fridays. When we finally convinced the employee on the phone to change our collection day to Fridays as we were unable to do Wednesdays with our restaurant being closed on a Tuesday, the bin men came to collect on the following Wednesday anyway, telling us that no one had told them that the collection date was changed to a Friday. This week, the bin men finally came on a Friday after weeks of trying to sort out a Friday collection, and we were told that they didn't deal with food waste and thus, we still have food waste bin uncollected for weeks now. The cherry on top was then the bin men collected and threw away a whole bin of ours so now we are a full bin short plus our food waste is still uncollected for weeks now. We've been on the phone to the customer services every Friday for the last four weeks trying to sort our bins out to absolutely no avail. Nothing said to the customer service team on the phone is ever passed on to the bin collection team. Plus, we've been billed for a collection every week for the last four weeks when we've only had two incomplete collections in the same time. The amount of stress that this has caused us is immeasurable and no one seems capable of addressing any of our concerns

Late Fees? You mean extra Money for WM?

Charged me for a trash can they were supposed to pick up for 5 months. Told me they never received the cancellation and apparently have no recore of me contacting them (including the last 5 calls in August 2025 which included me calling every time they forgot to pick it up on my pick up day. They proceeded to charge me a late fee and have just been continuously charging latest fees to my account even though everything has been paid. They are corrupt and looking to nickel and dime everyone where they can to save costs.
