I recently had several frustrating experiences with Wolt support while trying to place an order through the app, as a Wolt+ subscriber who regularly uses the service, I found this particularly disappointing.

On 17 February, I repeatedly received a validation error during checkout while attempting to order from Metro supermarket. Since the app would not allow the order to be completed, I contacted Wolt support through the in-app chat.

In multiple support attempts, my messages went unanswered and the conversation was eventually closed automatically or by myself due to the very long waiting times. In one of those chats, which started at 15:24, I waited over 2.5 hours before receiving a reply. The explanation given was that the support team had a high workload and that the issue was related to the bank provider. Unfortunately, this response came after a long delay and, because the request was time-sensitive, it did not resolve the issue.

In a separate attempt on another day (8 March) for a different order, I again encountered an error that prevented me from placing an order. After waiting over an hour without any reply, I eventually closed the chat myself due to previous long wait times.
These were the only two times in the past two months that I needed to contact support regarding an order problem, and both experiences involved extremely long response times.

If a company provides in-app customer support chat, it is reasonable to expect at least a response, especially when customers cannot complete an order due to an app error. When an app error prevents customers from placing orders, timely support is essential. Waiting hours for assistance—or receiving no response at all—makes it difficult to rely on the service when something goes wrong.
Because the request was time-sensitive, I eventually had to place the order through a competitor (Foody), where the order was completed without any issues with the app or payment method.

I would appreciate it if Wolt could clarify how customer support wait times are handled and whether improvements are planned, as this experience made it difficult to resolve a simple issue that prevented placing an order.

As a Wolt+ subscriber who uses the service regularly, this experience has made me question how reliable the support is when something goes wrong.

I hope Wolt reviews these cases internally and considers improving support response times.

Beware of WOLT

I placed an order with WOLT for some groceries that I needed urgently. Among them were 4 pomegranates and 1 box of facial tissues. The order was placed in the most expensive grocery store in town because it offered the pomegranates, which other stores did not. The order arrived quite late, and the pomegranates and tissues were missing from it, even though WOLT had charged me for them. All my messages to WOLT, including to their CEO, have been ignored.Do NOT order anything from WOLT. You will be short changed, disappointed, and angry.

Wolt plus is not worth it anymore.

Right after Foodora exoted Wolt changed it's discounts for plus members.Now to get free delivery you need to make more expensive orders.In the future I rather order straight from the restaurant than pay for wolt plus.

The app is great

The app is great, but the service is getting worse. My last three orders were either late or arrived cold because the courier took a massive detour. When I contacted support, I just got a tiny credit instead of a real solution. It's becoming too expensive for such inconsistent quality

Scum

Scum, no customer support happy for people to get totally scammed and then there is no mechanism to raise a formal complaint. I don’t actually understand how they’re legally allowed to trade with such poor regulation

Wolt Serbia - Total fail

Ordered at 14:58. Courier contacted me only at 17:00. ETA was about 40 minutes. After 2+ hours I refused the delivery. Courier communication was rude and unprofessional. Support offered no real resolution, only 'we will wait with you'. I do not need waiting. I need a clear policy for extreme delays and a real resolution for paying customers.
