Review Time
Ordered two custom raised beds in 2020. The delivery time was a little long, but this was due to the knock on effect of the first lock down. Once the ground was levelled, they were really easy to install. They look wonderful. All fixings are hidden, a lot of thought has gone into the design. Worth every penny if you want something bespoke and of high quality. I’ve since seen many cheaper alternatives available, but nothing that would fit the space I have, and nothing that looks as if it will last as long. Thanks Woodblocx, I’ve now got a well stocked kitchen garden in a victorian side return!
My ideas for four bespoke L-shaped raised beds were expertly interpreted by the team at WoodBlocX. Design and quote agreed. The WoodBlocX kit arrived promptly with very detailed instructions breaking down the block positions for each raised bed and every layer of wooden blocks. Having prepared and levelled base we carefully laid out first layer of wooden blocks. Found it easy to build once first two layers complete. Used an old mallet to speed the tapping in of the pegs. The WoodBlocX quality is great, and has transformed the look of our garden. We are currently growing a variety of vegetables and herbs in the beds but would look equally good with flowers and scrubs. So easy to keep the beds weed free and not so back breaking. Would recommend.
The product is excellent. Very enjoyable (& easy) to construct, and really does look the part. I have a number of different raised beds, WoodBlocX are by far the best. Plus everything grows well in them.I also re-stain them occasionally, and they look like new.Possibly a bit expensive for my whole vegetable patch though. Very pleased with those I do have.
I have mobility issues and was looking for a raised bed that I could stand or sit at and tend. After researching various options I went with Woodblox for its longevity and flexibility this also allowed me to order a bed which would fit exactly in the spot available. Ordering was straightforward customer services were very helpful I went with thier recommendation of lining the side with DPM to extend the bed life. The most complicated part of construction is making sure the bed you're building on is level. After that construction was very easy and reminded me of building with Lego. I constructed a 2.025x1.275x0.65 bed on my own with no problems. In addition I also faced the top with lead flashing to add extra protection from the rain/weather.A year on the bed is going strong and I'm very pleased with my purchase and I'm planning to add another to my garden.
Excellent service, easy to follow website, prompt replies to messages. After purchase, delivery was on time and delivered by very helpful staff. Instructions online are clear and easy to follow. The beds fit together neatly and look amazing. So happy with service I returned for more. Love them. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
We have had our WoodBlocx raised garden for two growing seasons now and are very pleased with it. It is solid, easy to construct and still very smart. Make sure it is level as you construct and we have built it on pea shingle surface to allow good drainage. We use it as our salad growing area, cover it to allow earlier sowing and then use a raised net around it to deter cats and birds. We highly recommend it.
