Review Time
I subscribed expecting a straightforward one-month plan for around €20, but I was unexpectedly charged an additional €126.49 that was not clearly disclosed during checkout. This was very unpleasant and felt misleading. I canceled my subscription immediately after noticing the charge, but now I'm uncertain of what will happen next or if I'll get my money back. The entire process felt deceptive, relying on confusing pricing and hidden fees.
First I don’t remember ever hearing about this man before but I may have. Second this has been sooooo great for my mood. I’ve been struggling with crap at my job and the (absurd) lack of sex in my relationship. I haven’t been far in the program but I’m so happy with it so far and hopefully it will help me with my procrastination. Especially with my training. Thanks.
The app helps to take snapshots and perspective in observing my thought paterns, solidifying where to Focus on my personal growth. When journaling little suggestive prompts help keep on track to intergrate SMART goal setting, plan appropriate steps, for the plan ahead to action. Thankyou for your useful app.
I purchased the program and looked at one day. It was not easy to navigate ahead so I discontinued using it. However I didn't realized that it was auto renew even though I only purchased the one month subscription. When the charge came through I immediately cancelled the subscription but they refused to issue me a refund. Be careful. This is not a very helpful app. They are taking advantage of people that are desperate to get help.Update: They just reached out to me and issued the refund. It is now pending. So they can be responsive.
I subscribed in September but never was able to access their platform… to the point of naively believing that my account didn’t exist. Que nenni: I was charged in October. I contacted them on October 22nd and to this day have never heard from them.I contacted PayPal on November 10th. For some mysterious reasonPayPal ended up finding in their favour. I disgruntledly cut my loss, thinking that was the end of it.Alas, it was not: they have charged me again for November for a service I have not been able to access since day 1 in September for a total of 130€. I gave written to them again and I have taken this up with PayPal, again.This is positively shameful. A total scam.
Overcharged & Got no reply & got no refundWhile I was scrolling IG, I saw the add and wanted to give it a try for a month, for 20 EURs. Although I am sure that I didnt choose anthing else, I got charged another 120 sth EURs in the last step, without a confirmation or anything.At the moment I cancelled my subscription and have been writing them, both in a email and through their contact form from their website, however it´s been more than 3 days and nobody showed the courtesy to even get back.This is totally unacceptable and a no go. So for the people who thinks of using it, I would tell them to be extra careful, and if anyone from workwithshadow sees this, I demand an immediate response and a refund. Otherwise I won´t leave this a go and consider taking legal actions.
