The app is nice and clearly outlines how to start working with your shadow.Maybe including journaling sections at the end of each day would be helpful?I'm not sure if being able to complete only one lesson is good or bad - as person with attention deficit I would like to skip to the next section and learn more - and on my own pace - but maybe that's not the best option ?Initially I'm using it only for one month - I've emailed customer service to let them know that I want to cancel my subscription (before I forget about it!) as my attempts to cancel it through the app were unsuccessful.I guess it's worth trying out and at least it's keeping me motivated to do it daily
It's not rocket science... So far though, it reminds me that feeling good and being successful is not only okay, but Good! It has reminded me that I have the power in me to feel good and complete and authentic. I suddenly feel more loving but at the same time less likely to take crap off people... but in a way in which I am not some bad ass. Standing up for myself somehow makes me more understanding of where others are coming from. Its a wonderful paradox happening.
Horrible company with an even worse website. No option to cancel my membership, only an email address and you have to wait 30 days to see if anything happens. You can't even access what YOU PAID FOR. This site is a total scam and deserves to be sued into oblivion. Currently out of $100 in total.
I wanted to sign up for the £16 1-month subscription, but when going through the check-out process there were numerous pages of services to be added with to option to continue without pressing ‘add’. There was no cost stated next to any of these options such as ‘accountability coach’ and it appeared to be part of the subscription. Once I pressed the ‘add’ button I was instantly charged an extra £107! I’ve contacted the company straight away via email (the only contact option I could find) and asked for a refund, and have chased this 4 times now but I never had a reply. This appears to be a AI generated app designed to rip-off people that are seeking mental support. Utterly disgusting.Update:I’ve now had a reply to my many emails to the company and they have been apologetic and given me a refund. My advise to them is to improve their UX, as at the moment it is clearly designed to catch people out. Extra service 'add-ons' only appear after the customer put in the card details to pay for the free trial, and – as far as I could see – there was no way around proceeding unless you choose one of the extra services, implying that this is part of the trial service. There was no mention of cost for these add-ons, and that pressing a button to 'select a service' would immediately take payment. I’ve never used the app as I was to scared to install it after reading the review so I can’t comment on how good it is.
Deceptive billing practices disguise the fact that you will pay $150 minimum by the time they are done fleecing you. Once the subscription is activated, it can’t be undone and my emails to cancel have gone unanswered. Hello@ workwithshadow.com contacted November 10th 2:35 EST
