I have had about 12 emails every day since I made a purchase from Wowcher. They are also allowing companies to sell pirated software on their platform. Take a look at the Microsoft and Adobe items which are using illegitimate product keys and forcing customers to go through telephone activation, to follow their instructions is actually fraudulent, you have to tell Microsoft in particular that the software has not been installed on any other computer when an actual fact it has been installed on many. If you do this then you cannot go any further which renders the product key useless. Illegal and fraudulent and I would not be happy purchasing anything from this site again and I do not appreciate being bombarded with emails every two minutes.
EDIT - I’ve had a reply, but still no joy. What is £20 to Wowcher? And it will be used to buy something else on Wowcher. You’d think it’d be a win win situation for them but no.'1640546' WOWCHER CODE: 6621PILNGood morning The £20 credit you refer too is Promotional credit (marketing credit) which is not accepted on this deal Promotional credit (marketing credit) is applicable for use on orders where the value of the item / service (minus postage / admin fees) is £10 or more. The way you use the credit is to tick the box that says "Use my credit for this purchaseIf this box was not showing for you this means the order is not eligible for purchasing with credit or the credit has expired.Unfortunately credit cannot be applied to a purchase that has already been made, nor can we refund or re-apply any unused or expired credit. Kind regardsWowcher1. Credit was not promotional. It was from a cancelled order that was refunded, this refund I accepted into my Wowcher wallet instead of back to my original payment method.2. The order was over £20.3. Use my credit box did not work.ORIGINAL REVIEWHaven’t used Wowcher for some years, 2020 I think was the last time. They had some Frankie & Benny’s meal deals so bought a few, no problems. Then I had money in my wallet, never had this before so unsure how it really works, so I tried to purchase another meal deal and for whatever reason my wallet money didn’t come off the bill, so I still paid for it and lost my £20 wallet money, got in touch with customer support, long story short, they were less than useless, lost £20 and they are not prepared to apply this money back into my wallet. So I will be using this last meal deal then deleting the app. Should have learnt from past experiences really but I didn’t!
