what a waste of time and money! submitted my aplication on their website after being lured by their promise to book a car within minutes - a couple of days later i receive an e-mail requestung for additional documents including a photo of myself holding my passport, one of myself holding my drivers licence and a piece of paper with the word ‘zipcar’ and the date written on it plus my bank statement(!). after submitting all this personal info i received an e-mail back the following day saying that my application has bren rejected, meaning i have wasted my £15 application fee! what a rip off!
This is my second time using Zipcar and I had a great experience so far . The car was easy to locate with the app. It was located in a garage and there was a card in the visor of the car and I was able to enter and exit the garage with ease. The gas card was also easily available in the visor of the car.
No stars they took my money made me wait two days when it was misleading that I can get the car right then if I pay and put my driver's license but no they took 36 bucks and I never got the car at all it wasn't available two days later so I never used the service I put two hours y'all charged me for two hours only to say you have to be approved so why take my money then take another 9 bucks for service I'm not or never got I had to go see my kid in hospital after emergency and y'all f'ed me made me look like a father who took his time when I was mislead to believe if I pay I'll drive na could and will rather use uhaul there straight up what they say is what they do IDC about the run on sentences I'm pissed
They are Frauds. They commuted card fraud. I am going to put a claim to my bank. They stole my $27. I never submitted my application. They literally stole my information and processed my information without me submitting anything. Frauds. Don't trust them
I was in a hurry to try and find a solution to an urgent need, paid the 15 GBP expecting to get at the very least some constructive information about how to proceed, but I instead got an unhelpful refusal with no specific reason given, and they kept my money even after I respectfully asked to at least refund it. It's not about the money as such, but the principle. For 15 pounds "administrative fee" I would at least expect a justification for the refusal. What kind of business practice does this reflect, apart from being money-grabbing?
Customer Service was horrible. They were rude in billing and in customer service department. Had issues with cars. Overage charged over several occasion. Will be filing a report with Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office regarding the charges on the account since I tried to resolve issue. 2x! On the phone 5 hours on one occasions ( rudely hanging up) The next day 2 hours ( same experience) Had a car accident had been renting from ZipCar for 2 months. Spent on average $4-5k monthly. No more business from me!Demetrius Taylor
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Rented a van from zipcar for 2 hours - amounted to £35. 2 days later they took a further £95 from my account for an alleged road violation fine from TFL- when I reached out to them multiple times to get more information on this they did not respond to my emails and when I called customer service they just told me to send more emails. From my perspective I have been charged a further £95 with no evidence as to why, terrible customer service and will not be coming back to use this company and would not recommend others to
