Zipcar is the best car rental service due to how they manage trips. I also love how they’re willing to work with you, rather than against you, if there’s an issue. I plan on using their services indefinitely! It’s truly a 5-star experience! Frfr!!!
I had a very good experience with ZipCar. This is the second time I have used the service. I've got a car for 3 hours. It was a nice small Kia, clean both inside and outside. The car was available at the indicated parking lot. It drove well. The checkout process is very efficient, but you must be thorough as you might not detect a dent or scratch if the car is dark blue or black and it's nighttime. The App works very well.
This is my second rental with zipcar and all went well the car was available when i needed it was clean and gased up so far zipcar has not let me down alerted me when ready for pick-up nice.so far no complaints keep up the good work zipcar highly recomended.
I have been a huge fan and recommender of Zipcar. But I decided to write this review after sending repeated mails to the company with no response.The car I was booked had overdue maintenance issues and the tire burst on my trip out of New York. This could have been terribly dangerous if it happened on the highway but fortunately, it was on a low traffic bylane. The response was speedy when I called the company and I was expressly advised to take a Uber back into the city and that it would be reimbursed as the car did not even have a spare. However, I still have not received the reimbursement or an update. So disappointed. Be careful with their lofty promises. I had never thought I’d be put through this despite all the shortcomings.
Long time Zipcar user. Car I booked was missing. Zipcar made me walk a mile to another car. Other car had issues leaving the lot. Eventually got out to find out there were tire pressure issues. Ended up spending the whole trip filling the tires but it kept losing air. Car was filthy too. Support offered $50 compensation for a $1000 two day booking after spending 8 hours on the phone with them.
