Disappointed, went to pay off my loan early paid £8,824 off over the last 15 months to be then told I have to pay a £628 early repayment fee and I have somehow only paid a total of £2,200 off the £25k loan in total. This should be illegal! I have never paid late or missed a payment. Disgusting!! I haves used Zopa before and didn’t pay the epc
if anything goes wrong with signing into your account from a different device then youre stuck.because changing your password doesnr work,the site will ask you to type in the email account you signed up with and they claim they have sent you a link.B I G LI E ! ! !Had this problem with Revolut alsocant get my money backso another county court action on the list of litigations
Using the credit card itself is fine, the app is self explanatory. The only issue is that sometimes the pay date doesn't get flagged which results in missed payments which obviously means I incur charges and it affects my credit score which is quite annoying.The live chat function is shocking. I got kicked out 3 times for 'inactivity' despite waiting for them to reply to me. It is quite frustrating.
Zopa has rapidly climbed up to be the best bank out there in my opinion, unfortunately my employer does not yet recognise zopa bank but hopefully in the future I can transfer my bank details so I can get my wages paid into my zopa account.
Appalling company. Had a personal loan with them, all went ok.Loan paid off, I then started to get experian credit searches that I never requested. Somebody was applying for credit without my consent. Asked Zopa to close my account but as fraudster had applied for credit in last 30 days I couldn't close the account!! What a joke of a company! Zopa claims to offer the reliability of a high street bank with the ease of app banking, but their standing order system proves otherwise. Payments falling on weekends aren’t retried, and customers aren’t even notified when a standing order fails.Because of this, I missed the funding window for my regular saver account. When I raised the issue, Zopa admitted they don’t retry or notify, refused to backdate payments, and told me I “could have resolved it by checking my account within the month.” That’s not reliability — that’s negligence.A bank that shifts blame onto customers instead of fixing basic safeguards is simply incompetent.
