Very slow customer service

I’ve had a recent fraudulent activity on my account, I tried contacting Zopa via the online chat and call. I was kept waiting a lengthy time for both forms of contact. Not exactly great customer service in a serious situation.

Automated account application process very unhelpful

Applied for a current account. Something was wrong with the proof of address I provided, but no details were given. Uploaded more evidence, heard nothing back, no status was shown in the app and when I contacted Zopa via chat they told me my application had been closed through lack of communication. Not very helpful. I will try again and see what happens.

Credit Card Frozen While Abroad - zero reason

Very concerning to have card frozen while abroad with zero reason given and no way of unlocking it in the APP. Luckily I had a back-up card or i'd have been in serious trouble. Spoke to customer service this morning and told (yeah we froze a lot of accounts due to a data breech and your account is fine) - they are sending a new card...Very tempted to throw this card in the bin and close the account and stick with my main provider.To note - was asked if I wanted to make a complaint (after we sorted a new card and i'd explained situation) then asked what about?? ha ha astonishingThanks
