I was sceptical of any warranty company but 2020warranty totally changed my opinion. They were honest, fair, and most importantly covered the costs of issues I had with a second hand car. They were quick to process my claim.
First of all, every member of staff i spoke to on the phone at 20-20 was lovely - when i first raised my claim they gave me so much advice, i felt like someone really had my back after my car suddenly broke down and faced the prospect of a new engine.The car overheated when a hose detached from the engine, dumping coolant out and causing the vehicle to break down - 2x AA visits ensued and advice given before it was finally towed to its ultimate resting place.There is a blanket exclusion for "overheating" on the policy i had - and despite them looking at the claim and advice i'd got from two mechanics, 20-20 stuck to the "overheating" line, despite the REASON for the overheat being completely unpredictable and sudden.I respect that all policies have to have their exclusions, but given the huge number of reasons that could cause a vehicle to overheat - broadly classing this as an exclusion without seeming to care about the proximate cause of this problem just feels very loop-holey to me.Again, everyone i spoke to on the phone here has been lovely and really helpful, but the policy itself doesn't seem fit for use or fair value given the number of exclusions.I'll also be taking this up with the dealership that recommended this product, i wouldn't get a warranty from here again,
I got in contact with 2020 warranty recently due to noticing the engine light appear on my dashboard. I have spoken to many people employed there over the past few weeks and every single person I have spoken to has been so helpful, they knew what they were doing and they were so friendly. I am not a mechanic and I do not know a lot about cars, 2020 warranty helped me to understand the process and issues following my vehicle. The company is fast and efficient and they answer the phone quickly. Another great thing about 2020 is that they can make primary contact with the garage to discuss what would be in the best interest for the customer. I haven’t a bad word to say and I am ultimately pleased with the experience.
You never want to call a warranty company, but when your car goes wrong and you need help, that's what you do. Friendly staff, can't remember names, but talked me through getting my car booked in, sent the quote to them and it was fixed with no fuss. They paid for what was expected. No drama, that's all you want really.
DO NOT USE... All I have asked for is for the funds to be released so I can collect my car but due to the shambolic Customer Service, I am now having to wait 15 days for the car to be repaired and for 20-20 warranty to release the funds to the garage so if you do not want the use of your vehicle and would like to wait to collect your car, so that you can use your vehicle, which is under warranty, then please go ahead and use otherwise I would advise to avoid this company under any circumstances.
