Absolutely terrible warranty company. Their warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. Bought a 14-year-old car, for which they were willing to offer us their Silver warranty for 15 months. After 2 months it suddenly developed a knocking noise, which was diagnosed as a flywheel and clutch needing replacement - a £2K repair. 2020 refused to cover any of it, first saying it was "diagnosed during another repair" (we had to pay to get the glow lamps replaced ourselves because they didn't cover them). Before replacing the glow lamps, the garage diagnosed the clutch and flywheel issue. 2020 saying that they couldn't cover anything diagnosed during another repair is completely ridiculous. (Plus it wasn't during, but BEFORE the repair ). Then they said it was "just a knocking noise and not a complete failure". When asked if they would cover if we had driven it until it was completely broken, they said No. Next time we called them, they gave the excuse that it was "wear and tear" which they didn't cover. But on a 14-year-old car, everything is going to be wear and tear!!! Since it's an older car!!! IF THEY DON'T COVER WEAR AND TEAR, THEY SHOULDN'T OFFER WARRANTIES TO SECOND-HAND VEHICLES. They said they only cover "sudden mechanical or electrical failure" - which since the knocking noise started suddenly, we assumed was what this was. But they gave every excuse under the sun to wriggle out of it and not cover a thing. Since it's knocking and not completely seized, they wouldn't cover it. But if it had completely seized up after being driven, they still wouldn't cover it. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE. And how do you define whether something is wear and tear or failure?anyway??? it's not like it's tyres or brakes. It's an integral part of the engine! No explanation other than the above pathetic excuses. No offer to pay for part of it. No goodwill gesture. No reply when I put in a complaint and dispute. No call back from management after it was requested. They didn't even refund our policy, or let us cancel it after 3 months and get a refund of the remaining 12 month period, because "the 14-day cooling off period is up" and apparently we should have noticed straight away that they didn't cover wear and tear and cancelled it sooner. After having the misfortune to deal with this completely useless so-called warranty company, I would actually go so far as to say that they are contravening the Trades Descriptions Act and committing fraud. My husband is not the sort to take this lying down and we would like to take this further. Absolutely disgusted. Please do yourself a favour and stay well away from this company.
Horrible, horrible, horrible company to have a warranty with. Main objective of this company is to take your money and pay nothing out.I opened the case for an engine fault back in September and due to a business trip overseas I was delayed and take the vehicle to a mechanic for initial diagnosis so this company used this excuse of the delay to basically reject my engine problem claim And when I ask them can I raise a second case so that it can be dealt with they said no because your initial claim was to do with an engine fault you cannot raise a second claim to be processed in other words you've lost your chance for that particular fault Despite challenging the outcome they were determined to refuse the second claim citing all kind of clauses from the contract that I signed with them In a nutshell this company is more about using the contract to challenge you and not to pay you that is the sole purpose of this company Stay way away from them because once you start paying into the warranty monthly payments you cannot exit when things don't work out well with them and you'll end up paying for the rest of the year despite your unhappiness Find another company.UPDATE AFTER REPLY FROM COMPANYAs I stated you guys will find any excuse to get yourself out of a claim. When I did raise the question if I could raise another claim your reply was too late you can't claim again for the same problem This shows that the intention is not to pay out at any cost by finding a clause in your contract or by simply rejecting every alternative

This company is a scam if you purchase a warranty with this company you will get ripped off I purchased a man truck with a 12 month driveline warranty when we came to make a claim they said it was wear and tear and our hgv garage clearly stated it was mechanical part failure and was under warranty this company took months to get to the decision of were not paying out they also instructed us to have the vehicle stripped down and they would cover this cost to be told today that there not paying for the stripping down or the part failure this is a very very poor service and I would recommend using a different warranty company This company is a scam M6 commercials in Birmingham use this company so beware
Had a long road trip planned when the clutch started to feel off. 2020 Warranty arranged for diagnostics and covered the full repair within the same week. Couldn’t believe how smooth it was. Their team gave me real peace of mind during a stressful time. Highly professional and efficient.
Called customer support about a whirring noise in my engine. They didn’t waste time. Authorised an inspection, confirmed the fault, and paid for a full alternator replacement. Everything was smooth and professional. I truly appreciated how proactive they were. Definitely renewing this policy when it comes up again.
